yep thats true lol this is one thing i never understand about football everybody sees its offside stil the goal counts ...wel atleast WE had the luck this time and the 2_0 was a nice and fair goal but still its weird

It wasn't offside, because the Italian fell there because he crashed into his own Goalkeeper so no foul there and because of that game GOES ON. Now because one of the Italian player is over the foul line the offside will be taken from foul line also, but Van Nistelrooy wasn't over that line so the Goal counts and no Offside.

btw the first goal is a MILE offside notice the Italian player is OUTSIDE of the lines at the time the bal is played ..that means he is outside of  play so van nistelrooy is offside  but i dont care :P ole ole ole ole (luck is also needed)

Being outside means nothing at that moment, otherwise a player could go outside the lines at every corner.
He aint outside of play, he just walked agaist Buffon.
Goal wasnt offside at all, it just looked that way at the begin.

You should watch from other camera position... I saw this goal several times (Netherlands ) and from all positions, and yeah, I said to Gandalf at once: offside, man... Even though I was supporting Dutch Team

Ok look, let me try to explaine it xD

Zambrotta ran in trying to save the corner, buffon came in also, both hitted eachother, reff didnt blow the wissle because they did it themself.
Zambrotta just lays down outside the line, while he could just ran back, annother mistake.
Van Nistelrooy see's it, Snijder shoots, Van Nistelrooy walks to the side and scoores.
Even the Italians knew it wasnt offside, they where pissed because of the "Fair play".
Dutch could also pass the balll over the line, and look hows it going with Zambrotta.
But that would be stupid, sinds it was just a act of Zambrotta to get a free kick.

The goal isnt offside, because the reff says play on when Zambrotta got down outside the line.
He also didnt say that Zambrotta didnt count anymore as a diffender, so Zambrotta was the last man.
And Van Nistelrooy was infrond of Zambrotta, so the goal counts.

Yeah, and at the momment Snijder passed the ball to van Nistelrooy, he was still infrond of Zambrotta, so no offside.
