Dutch coach is great and famous but trust me for Russian team you need a magician to make them play good...

why is that ?because its so cold in winter the fields are frozen ? i mean you are really good in Icehockey so I guess Football just isnt popular enough ?

I always wonder how we with 16 milion people have so many talented players and russia with 148 milion have so little .

First of all it is not the nr1 sport. Just like China, India and the US all have a lot of people but no traditions....but Russia was unlucky not to score in the first half... once they scored they already played a different game. Seeing Greece-Sweden, Russia still has chances.

If he can do it with Korea he can do it with Russia.

The difference with Koreans - they really work... Russians are too lazy...
They are good in hockey cos its a small field, no need to run kilometers...

Still, in the group - yeah, they have chances... But the thing is Russians are playing good only against very strong opponents, so there is always a chance they will screw against Greece... )))

wel sure but thats just the point if you are a champion why play this way ..play like one

I mean if our team would play like that they would get the whole country against them ..last time greece became champion and yes they played defensive also ..but with much more guts ..now they say 'we are even stronger' and play the ball around back for half the match? sry but thats just weird

You know what?Greece play good whenever she wants...God damn...Sweden beat us...We have beaten France,Czech,Portugal e.t.c...

I hope Greece will beat Raussia,then Spain lose from Sweden and Greece beat Spain or come draw,So we can come 2nd

As about Russia - it was the one team who beat Greece the last championship...
Russians also beat France when they were current champions 3:2 amazing match and beat England in selection matches...
Still Russian team sucks...

Greece is trying the last championship tactic - to sit near gates and gain draw... But I do not think it will help them this year, as such tactics work once... Its a past, now they need attacking style to rise their skills...
