Imagine if I am a cop IRL and some naabcake comes and throws a tomato at me. I will get him, make him lick my whole uniform, break his teeth and then throw him out of the PD.

No officer will say "Sir, it's not polite to throw tomatos at people, they might not like it, please pay fine $25", they will kick your ass instead.

You can be angry and insult IC all you want, as long as you do not use swearing and are ready to get called on your actions without moaning.

Fair enough, I understand that swearing isn't the best way, especially as children are playing on the server; 11-12 year olds etc. But what if someone crashes into my car and speeds off, my character would be pretty pissed off and probably shout, can I only shout "Ooooh damn you! damn you bad man!"?

I think a list will have to be made to know what is swearing and what isn't such as "crap", is that a swear word in your eyes? bastard? tosser? Some of them are acceptable in one country but not in others, so depending on the admin that sees it, you may or may not get warned or kicked etc...

Just a thought, but thanks for clearing that up Gandalf because I have heard many different views from the admins.

Admins kicking and warning for that ... someone sent a complaint about me calling him 'fishface' (that's how kids call eachother in the kindergarden ... "Fishface" "Waaaa, Imma tell mom  " ) in the roleplay chat. I had to apologize about it, but it was a bit too harsh, don't you think ?

Or you call a cop..( as a black) dunno: you say: 187 on all cops you fool....(if you suspect him then, its kind of childy...for verbal assault. i mean in Real in the ghetto the gangs flame them all time and cops dont do nothng)

I don't know where the reason is, but my take on it is that there are younger players playing. Think about Counter-strike servers that turn any word such as "f*ck" into "****", it's because it's not a good word to use and another word could easily be used in its place.

But yeah, if the admins followed the rules, I would to.
