Yeah we have different visions on roleplay.

But if you want it to be realistic, next time you die, don't come back on server....

Our intention is to make it as free as possible for everyone. Want to play 'hardcore'RP with your character, making it grow ? You can.
Like to change roles every time you are on server, or just when you are bored with your current on ? You can too.

We are not going to make the server restricted for only one kind of player who wants everything like in real life. Want real life ? Go out and live it.
Want to play a game ? Do not expect everything as reality.

If you feel that using your imagination and fantasy is not realistic, then you 'did not get it'.

You have no idea whats roleplay if you think that people, who type in chat "OMG nice car!" are all "act like dicks when roleplaying"... That is absurd...
Absurd is demand from players to limit their original control panel options - jumping...
Absurd is to Set special objects to hide original objects...

Do not like it - make your own server with your own map without GTA features, and as Gandalf said - once died - leave server and do not come back for zomg realism...

Aragorn, I'm not attempting to turn the topic into flame, It just makes me mad how people just can't accept that some people roleplay in other ways. He gives a few tips on how to roleplay (his definition of roleplaying) and everyone goes "bad idea!!", it's not an idea, it's TIPS on how to increase your roleplay standards (his definition).
I'm not the one trashing his tips and making this topic into a flame topic, try looking from more points of views then your own. Can't you realize that this was from the beginning just a way to help people rp "more" ? and now it's turned into a battle of who knows how to RP, and which way of RP is the best.
There's no winning in a battle like this, only loosing.

Correct... so who will start RP a shopkeeper that is actually present in his business ?
Who is RPing a non-gang, non-mafia citizen that looks for a job ?

And most of all... who is keeping Merc from playing as he want to ?
We are not against 'hardcore' RP. We are not against making a character grow.
Just we do not see this kind should be made R-U-L-E for all to follow.

Tips great, and if you want to follow them, no problem. But do not start asking admins and developers to make your way of playing a rule.

So that you know - police was the first role on GTA multiplayer... And the first server started Roleplaying - made right the police command... That was all... All server had - just wanted system - jail/kill awards... Server had the biggest community on GTA and was crowded 24/7... When they started making money feature and more "jobs" on requests from players - server turned to shit... Admins were sitting and kicking everyone who was "none-rp" from their point of view, players started moaning on each other... This did not last long... After the new scripts version with more so-called "rp"? like jobs paydays, robberies, server died totally... If you do not believe - I can give you the name of this community and its servers - all are empty...

The same are trying to do the group of moaners on Argonath... And I see in it - special tryings to ruin the server... First of all needs to shit others - you all showed it already... Secondly - to make more and more rules so players will even breath by scripts and commands, and every step should discuss with admins...

You do not understand why we are negative? Cos server has a biggest stuff for roleplaying in your style then any other server... Server has properties, cars, jobs, events, citizens... Those, who like roleplay - they are playing and getting fun... Those who like to blame - always are looking for problems outside and not in themselves...

Exactly why Gandalf said about this "die - leave"... He compared your suggestions which are absurd in point of incresing the roleplay with such example... Bunnyhopping is not allowed - already hardcore, already more and more forced rules...
Cops cannot take civilian cars - the same... Why not? Whats the problem? The one problem - there are no cars at police departments, cos cars respawn system is bugged on SAMP (R3 fixes part of it, so cops will less take other cars)...

You ever asked cops why they did it?

- because no car on parking
- because other car is handling better
- because criminal has fast car

all you can join in one - cos cops are also players and wanna also fucking enjoy the game as others... They like to be cops and they also have their own likes in cars... So why should you run after every cop - "wanna drive the car you like - do not play as cop"... Its a fucking game and not a real life - this is what Gandalf pointed you to...

And you keep talking about the cops with the cars. But me as a deputy chief actually agrees. As cop try not to drive in a civilian car, but yes ofcourse sometimes you have to...

I was reading from the beginning... I did not see anyone blaming Merc... I saw Panda wrote his own point of view, and from that it started... What started - I also saw... From TIPS Merc turned it into blackmail "will not change - I will not stay long here"... This you call TIPS? And yes, when I saw those "Why you call yourself Argonath RPG" etc...
This is telling an admin? We could also ask him - why the fuck he is an admin on a shitty none-rp server?

Yes, I took it as an attack on Argonath RPG... Like you or not our name... And Argonath RPG is the one server, who united different styles and does not let servers to fall in a total idiotic absurd...

This TIPS not so far ago leaded to the fight in admins team and losing rights of Hayden, cos he started making his own rules of (()) chats (I am sorry for those who cannot roleplay without instructions - you are poor gamers), double nicks with first and second names, and even started punishing players for "none - rp", like that...
