No no, you're sentence was quite right; Argonath IS based on Meta- and powergaming, you shouldn't get a banana for that, as those are non-forbidden things (meta- and powergaming.) here.

It's not really like you said. Metagaming and powergaming are terms that didn't exist on Argonath for a long time (mainly when Argonath had only the MTA:VC server). But the SAMP server was launched, new players brought them from other RP servers, along with some other quite conflict-making habits. To me, it looks like a sign of laziness or something, that new players don't like to learn all the rules from the start, so they play by the other servers' rules and adapt to the Argonath ones if differences occur.

In short, Argonath can't be based on something that was introduced a long time after the server started.

You can play with or without meta/powergaming, but you can not force others to play like you. If you don't like someone's roleplaying style, you don't have to play with them. Simple as that...

It's like saying playing as a granny with guns shouldn't be allowed, it sucks and it's non-realistic. If you want to, you can handicap your playing style with not using meta-gaming and power-gaming. But you can't really force other players to play by your personal rules.

And what is so sucky in metagaming? You need it in some situations (eg. when as cop, to check who is wanted).

The granny example was not related to power/metagaming, and it was a reply to Mawi. It was an example of saying that something sucks, something that you don't do but others do.

I don't restrict myself from metagaming (mainly the ic/ooc chat thing - I use common sense instead), though I have played with you a couple of times. And I didn't see you complaining about that

Well, if you have read the main post, and the topics name... All he is doing is giving some tips, its not like you HAVE to do it.

Which are not directly role-play tips, but more like self-induced realism handicaps that in the long end only cause moaning about others not applying the same to them, even though they don't have to.

3/4 of it actually all of it after reading the points, breaks the general concept/vision of Argonath and are redundant/useless/do not contribute to actual role-play, but maybe a bit to realism¹. All of the points are easily bashable.
