Windows XP SP2/SP1 To SP3

I just found out yesterday but if you haven't downloaded it yet I reccomend it.

Microsoft released Windows XP Service Pack 3 Upgrade

I haven't noticed any performence difference or any incompatabilitys.

I did it on one computer with the second one so it really doesn't matter.

If Microsoft released it then why didn't it download in my recent Windows Update?

Because it's an OPTIONAL update.  It does NOT automaticly update but If you go online to Windows Update: http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/

If you don't have it it will tell you it is reccomended to download SP3.

It is not mandatory but fixes security holes etc.
