What is it with people selecting wrong/joke locations in the member map?

To bad it can't just trace your IP to a country and automatically stick in that flag.

Then you just have option to show or not show.

It would be nice if people did real country they live but tbh I don't really care as much about it. Plus some people preffer to put country of nationality, I don't see anything wrong with that either.

I've always had my pin where I'm from, but I'd prefer to have the flag of my country on display rather then the flag of the union my country is in.

Alright, but the member map is not only about your nationality. It's about the location where you live permanently or at least most of the time.

If you look at member map my location is same always, my flag is my nationality

 I also like to know what country people are from but I dont really care if someone chooses another flag  whats wrong with it ? i considered using the nepalese flag once

I am from Holland, but set pin to Moscow (Russia), cos I know Russian and I am half-russian, and Russia has more bigger territory so that your pin will not be lost...  :redface:

But I would also like people to set their pin locations more correct...
If you do not want to show your own country - then just do not set pin or set a pin of country which you like...

All those Arcticas, Antarcticas, Oceans locations are stupid, sorry...

Especially those, who put pin and name the location as a very different country... Seems like this guys have no idea where is their country... And it can be even true...
