I had an unexpected problem on my hands

, My hard drive is acting up, it makes these "busy" noises and they are really loud, then everything freezes for 10 seconds, and the hard drive is back, then 2 min. after... same.
so i reformatted, used Hiren's BootCD to diagnose any problems, but it says everything is okay.
and today, i found HDD Regenerator on the BootCD, and it found 4 bad sectors, and restored them, but the rapid clicking then pausing is continued.

so I installed Ubuntu 8.04 and my hard drive is ok... :conf:
but i tried running MTA 0.5 under WINE, (WINE emulates windows, so you can run windows applications under Linux) but it doesn't load,

I am trying to fix this issue but in the end i may have to get another internal hard disk ( i already have a working 500gb acomdata external USB) because my BIOS doesn't support bootable USB drives or anything so i cant install an OS on my external.
any suggestions? I am getting withdrawal symptoms from the lack of Vice City :S
ill be looking out for a cheap, 20gb HDD at walmart, or any local, major stores. (Future shop, the source by circuit city, radioshack, walmart, canadian tire, or whatever, even Taiwan Tire (lmao) )
