IC Flaming

I think that IC flaming should be allowed, cause its RP, when im RPing, it would have been better to say 'Fuck off!!" than say "Leave!!", and its onlt RPing, its not directed personally to the person.
So i think it should be allowed.

And if someone disagrees with me, i would like to know why.

I disagree, but agree, I think it should be permitted and tolerated to a certain point, if your character is mexican for example 'Pendicho' meaning 'd**k head', they say that a lot, it's even allowed on TV before 9.00pm, as long as it's not an blatent and rude attack that could offend someone, but if you need to be able to swear and taunt in order to RP, i think you need to look again.

The thing is...distinguishing IC flame from OCC flame is like distinguishing salt from sugar just by looking at it...almost impossible.

Because of this, it should NEVER be used...flame is flame.

THis wont happen. People will use /l chat for direct flame to player and then as an excuse for flaming will say - i used /l, it was IC.

There is two types of IC 'flaming'. First type of it is a flaming which breaks sides and from IC flaming transfers to OOC flaming. Other type is whem after each line you type '(sorry for language)', e.g. You acting angry cop, who starts to use badwords /m Stop the car, motherf**ker (sorry for language). I will warn/kick/ban as each other admin, but I wont take an action for second type of IC flaming which is with excuse/apologise.

Flaming - Personally directed swearing , e.g - I fucked your dead mom twice! Dickhead , Fuckface , e.tc
Swearing - Swearing shouted out not directed personally , e.g - Fuck Off! Fucking leave us or we will blast ya! , e.tc

Do you see the difference?
Make the swearing stay at one point , and dont make it personal , then it isnt "flaming"...

IC flaming will never be allowed, as it makes it easy to hide.
This is exactly the reason why we feel there is no need for different signs like (()) = OOC.
Whenever you are on server you are free to talk as you want, and if the player you are talking to can not understand the difference between IC and OOC he should play more often on Argonath and less on other servers. 
Regarding the swearing, if a cop uses such language, he better have a reason. IRL if he tried that could cost him his job. and if a criminal tried, well he can expect a ticket at least if not some hits.
Swearing and flaming is never allowed in public chat (/p) and is allowed limited in local chat (/l). With limited we mean that admins will not have to take action if it is clear part of RP, and all players involved see it as such. If it goes out of RP for even one player, we return to the main rule that it is not allowed.
