This happens, Im ready to give up on MTA VC, but i really want to play.

Look at the bottom right corner of the pic... I've never had Norton before but try disabling it while reinstalling/downloading.

Norton's detecting it as a false positive. Disable it during download and install, and just in case add an exclude rule to the Multi Theft Auto folder (so that when it scans your computer, it won't delete any files it might think are viruses).

Omg...Norton...omg...Erm...disable it when u DL..or most of the time, only turn on for scheduled scans and activate windows firewall.

norton will make your PC EXTREMLEY slow as it scans EVERYTHING you do, everywebpage, everyfile you open, every program you run.

If u haven't noticed any changes in the speed of your PC, keep it activated. Only disable it for a short period of time.

for example. when u DL a very small file, disable it for 5 minutes ( a selction box should promt you when you try to disable it)

just add mta vc to the trusted list in your norton....
you can do that in the norton security settings..
