Too much speed

My San Andreas, in SA MP and Single PLayer, in all servers, is fast, running shooting cars and all.
When i checked in Single Player i found out it was the game clock, it was ticking faster than usual.
Any tips how to stop it?

I heard of this happening to multi core cpu players that have it set to to run on more then one core. Run the game then CTRL+ALT+DEL to task manager, processes tab, find gta_sa.exe, rightclick, affinity, have only one cpu ticked, ok, get back ingame.
