I'm looking for a safe and easy way to overclock my video card, ram and processor.

I'm wondering which programs I should use to do that. Any help is appreciated!

Stuff I have:

video card: ASUS 9800GTX+

RAM: Kingston 8gb (4x2gb)

processor: Q6600 quad core 2.4ghz

Motherboard: P5n-T Deluxe

Note: Is it true that the computer will last shorter?

Why you need to overclock those?!!??!?!?

Yes it is true unless you buy good cooling system (I mean VERY good)

to voerclock the video card, use nTune or RivaTuner.

CPU and other Overclocking you should go into the BIOS

(FSB x Multiplier = GHz)
(450 x  9.5 = 4275 - 4.28 GHz)

your computer will live shorter, but no more then 5 seconds will be taken off the 20 year lifespan.. lol

nothing to worry about, computers from the 80's still work today, technology has only become better since

the most common Overclock for your CPU is 3.6 GHz
FSB should be 379 and a multiplier by 9.5

my video card is overclocked on the stock cooler.. Intels stock coolers are very good too.

Ok this is what I did:

FSB to 1400 (350) (1516 (379) did not work) and CPU multiplier to 9 ... I couldnt set it higher than 9 in bios!

I use phoenix BIOS ...

So 350x9= 3.15 GHZ

and Umm temprarature I measure it with Real Temp 2.70

lowest 31 32 31 32 centigrade degrees

highest 47 45 44 44 centigrade degrees  :)
