PC Gameplay: Argonath TeamSpeak Server

Have you ever been a cop? Has your chase got ruined, because you started to write something to chat and next thing you see that your car is all wrecked or you find yourself in water :redface:?

I wonder why you guys don't set up an Argonath TeamSpeak server. It would be really helpful especially for cops, who need to work as a team to arrest the most dangerous criminals. It would make the chases much easier, because there no longer wouldn't be need to write so much to chat while driving. So there would be a kind of police radio. Also, of course TS  would be available for other citizens, but cops would have their own channel.

For those, who haven't ever even heard about TeamSpeak:
TS is a voice client (voice chat) to be used with different games. In TS several players can talk to each other at the same time. TS is a very light program, so it's not a problem to run TS in the background when playing, even with older computers.

Oh, and if you don't own a microphone, it's still not a problem. If you're a cop for example, you can join the TS cop channel as "listen only" -player and that way you can listen to the tactics and plans that other cops are talking.

If you would hear someone I live close to during chase you would be happy that he is not on Teamspeak  

I will ask Sauron about it as he has to decide about the server load of a Teamspeak server

Anyway for cops it would help if some would understand that the object of taming is not to run all after a criminal the same way, but try to go around and meat them from the other side. If one or two cops are on foot, the others can be standby in a car in case the criminal finds one and gets away. Also blocking might help (if you block the criminal and not the cops foolowing).

Exactly, I think TeamSpeak would make tactics and planning much easier so it would be possible to catch the criminals much easier with good tactics.

I could be able to host TS server for testing purpose (so we can see how it really works with MTA), when I will get my new router (the current one sucks). So then there would be TS available, when I am online.

Nice one, I personally use Ventrilo because I am an admin on the vgaming forum one. So I need to look after it a lot.

I can make rooms on there etc, I usually make some for guilds/clans etc, on differnt games.
