Restart when trying to run games or movies

Well, im really pissed off.. i have tried a lot of things....

problem:
When i try to run a game, My pc restart (reason of inactive ingmae)

One question - is it after some time of running computer, or just after switching computer on?
I mean.. is computer cold?

Hmm i had similar problem but just with games..When i try to play PC just restart for some unknown reason. That was a time ago and i think i solved that when i bought new graphic card and Ram..True, dunno if that was up to graphic card and Ram but still...Or maybe u can check motherboard and condensers on it..U may think its a lame reason but i read somewhere that problem also can cause acid from condensers on motherboard, so check is it dry...Every component can cause that problem...

i had same trouble when my fan on video card was blocked,open case look at little fan(if u got one) and see i it spinning or not,second thing,try testing power outage from power block,if it started dying it will give fluctuactions in power,try these 2 gimme feedback

Well, most likely its up to graphic card...Nah full screen has nothing to do with it..But also yeah, i could start some games without restarting and after 15 mins again restart :P

First of all: check your temperature of Graphic card and CPU (im bios or using program)
Then check in BIOS, because maybe there is something like a RESET temperature.. you know what i mean?
Its to protect computer from burn... In example: At temperature of CPU - at 92* your computer is restarting...

But remember, dont change BIOS settings which you dont understand.. you can f*** your computer up...

As i said im not n00b in hardware part of informatic... :P

EDIT:  It dont have to be graphic card... when its graphic card or RAM memory, there should be blue screen with white letters, before computer restart... It can be ATX also, but im pretty sure thats something with CPU..

And Brains - in your case, im sure thats case of temperature Some games are making CPU hard-working, so he is getting warm, and temperature up... i think new CPU Fan with more RPM should solve your problem.
Why it restart only on "some" games? Not all games make your CPU or Graphic card, hard-working..

Hmm, i have same CPU now as i had when that problem was happening so i dont think in my case its cos of CPU, but dont forget HDD also

reinstall your Display driver.. Im kinda famous for my display driver problems..
My Hdd restarts always when the display driver malfunctions, ,gives blackscreen or just show stripes..
Just reinstall the driver fixes it always

I dont understand Robis, How a 2002 game could make the pc hard working when a game 2007 dont make it...

Also the game that it always restarts(full screen) is a Rts game with low graphics
