Cannot Download MTA 0.5 (Urgent Help!)

I tried download MTA 0.5 today from almost every website that carry's it, (even Argonath RPG :wow:) but Norton Internet Security won't let me download it because it told me that the file carry's a virus named Trojan.Vundo.B. Can someone tell me if I should let the "virus" pass or just never play MTA again? Thank you for reading, current name, 1ceCream.

Try to scan your PC for viruses .. it is a Trojan virus that infects your download files, I had it too once.
If not Norton, try Windows Live Onecare (type in Google) - it will work for sure

Well I did scan my computer this morning. I'm not capable of using anything else than Norton Internet Security because I have trusted it for the past 3-4 years. I'm going to try some "ways" to get MTA 0.5 into my computer for now. Thanks for the help though!

Uninstall Norton and get something better :P try NOD32 only downside is you have to allow it to load Executable files and other crap but worth the download.

Well, I'm still looking for an alternative way rather then removing Norton. If I do uninstall I'll only be limited to "safe porn" :wow: Anyways, Thanks for the help guys! BTW, I'm only limited to the Argonath RPG VC:MP server for now.

I have same problem with NOD32 and still cant download 0.5 client..Also to be honest i wouldnt like to remove NOD just cuz of game :redface:

Go to options of norton and add mta 0.5 as an exception.
Before you download it, turn the norton off first as well.

OR shutdown every time u download/install/open MTA ... or add it to trusted zone in settings, like mib said

Well I can't take the risk to play MTA 0.5 anymore because of the "Trojan Horse" Norton found in the installation file. But still, thanks for the help. I am currently playing on the Argonath RPG VC:MP server.

MTA 0.5 is not a trojan virus. It must've been the anti-virus database which somehow includes MTA as a virus, these days. Even my anti-virus says that, but I fixed it by using MIB's method. We all used MTA 0.5, it never did anything which a virus would do.

I fixed this problem and entered into MTA:VC..The solution for me was that i uninstalled NOD32 completely and then i downloaded MTA:VC 0.5 client, installed it with GTA:VC and after that i installed AV..Not so difficult eh, now it works nice
