I was thinking of joining as a chef, but I figured I'd still have to do "Lumpen" and nvm'ed it.

If you see only Marines Corps, dont be suprised. You have also Navy, Airforce, Mechanized Corps etc etc. Its depend from you what you wana do. And yeah you dont get promotion to general just for joining... its your work.

I've been interested in guns my whole life, i have tens of plastic guns around still, of which i somtimes still use.
See, I dont really fancy killed all the terrorists and stuff like that going " PEW PEW i R KILL TEH terr0rizts! PEW PEW"

But, I really wanna join the army..

I'm just what the army needs. a guy who has no hope of getting a job, nothing to loose 0_0. i may join in the future...i wouldn't join the part where i had to kill people....maybe something else.

I haz a nuclear base within 20 miles (?) of my house...Nuclear naval base that is. Also, 20 miles in the other direction there is the BAE systems shipyards, that are currently building the new T45 destroyers and building half of the two new supercarriers, whihc will both be built in Scotland

I think there is something going on with the new erm...Typhoon subs or whatever the new ones are called. Scotland ftw!.


Also two facts. 75% of the SAS are Scottish. Plus most of the UK army are Scottish, mostly snipers.

Well, Seeing as how my Father and both of my Grandfathers served and faught in Wars (Vietnam and WW2 Respectively). I might join after I finish my Schooling Callege and whatnot, I might join the Navy and go to Officers School and try to become a pilot..
