How'd you get it that clean . I saw yours so I went to make mine, but I couldn't figure out a way to cleanly record it.
Spent like 3 hours odd on it though, not to mention weeding the frames.

This is how I do with my animated avatars:
1. Save .flv file from youtube using my Fast Video Download addon on Firefox
2. Convert it to .avi using Magic Video
3. Open the .avi in Virtual Dub and cut out the section(s) of the video that I want to use then save the segmented .avi (goes to 25fps)
4. Import to Photoshop and use 0.04s delay for each frame
5. Do the final touches, then export as .gif
