I think this question was posted when GTA IV was ready to get launched for consoles version ! And did Argonath died ? NO! Also when GTA IV will be realeased for PC argo will not die! Reason: I dont think ppl will play all day GTA IV they will make some time for argo also ! 

But it will come  a day when argonath will die ! But i hope that day its far, far , far from today !

Considering almost 50% of all argonath does not even have the requirements for GTA IV on the PC, Argonath RPG SA:MP will never die :P

Did VC players change into SA when it came? No, that's why I don't think this will happen.

its almost dead,
at this moment SA is running good,
but i do think when GTA4 on pc will be out, that argonath will lose players to it,
including me,

so the amount of players will be half of the amount now, maybe more, maybe less,
since some players already played it on ps3/xbox

Murderboy, now you are talking about VC:MP which is.. Hm. How to say?... Do you tried MTA: VC? If you think that MTA: VC is not active, then what word 'active' means? By the way, I still think, that there will be a crew, who will creat a modification for GTA: IV like GTA: IV: MP, for RolePlay mode and for players who won't be able to buy GTA IV (As I heard, it will be impossible to play online if your game-version wont be from shop ). So, If there will be a crew, which will do that, don't you think that Argonath will grow bigger and bigger? VC:MP, MTA:VC, MTA: SA ( which will be one of the best, when scripts will be finished), SA:MP and possible GTA/MTA: IV:/ MP?

GTA IV Multiplayer is copyrighted... Old GTA versions had no this copyright... So its possible to make multiplayer but 100% illegal... It means the creators will face the Rockstar Lawyers...

If PC version will increase slots to 64 or at least 32, Argonath will have its own server there...

Not a single chance of Argonath RPG SA dissapearing  . The servers are great and I dont think that anyone would leave them if he is any good at RPing.

1. There is possibility to have Argonath server on GTA IV multiplayer... All depends of Rockstar system of PC multiplayer and slots...
2. GTA IV multiplayer is officially released and copyrighted, it means nobody cares where did you download your game (illegal ways)... Wanna play GTA IV multiplayer - buy a product in a shop as all others do...
3. GTA IV hardly will have any script possibilities to script the game mode you want as its official and any attempts to get the game code for making scripts are considered as hacking and attempts on copyright...
4. GTA IV will have gamemodes which are officially announced on Rockstar site...

Dunno what name you come in or came into VC. But you wuda come in at a time when everyone was asleep. If you come in at about 6 pm CET all the way till 11pm CET, you wud change your view.
Not that im worried if you change it or not. Just that I think what you said was incorrect. VC is very active.

Further, the only reason vc has few players at other times is due to the abscence of ASE. And yet, a few new ppl do find the server and stick to it.
