GTA IV

i bought GTA IV a few days ago, and when i try to go on multi player, 9/10 time i get,
'cannot connect to game, returning to single player'
and i cant get game invites,
also says that my router/WAN is too strict and kicks me

i am using a Belkin router connected to my Xbox,
any help?
resolver gets 250k from me in game.

Ok... First some basic questions:

Step 1:

do other games on your xbox360 work normally over internet? No lag whatsoever?

Yes no lag: Please dont look any further...

No, I got tiny lag and with some games it doesnt work either... Please go to step 2

thanks yihka, ill try it out, but what if i go wronge, what do i do if i cant even get on the internet with comp?

well... you do know how to zet a router right?

well if you dont, and the router might crash... you better know someone who does know it, or you should have a manual

Find your router model number ( should be somewhere on a label on your router), write it down and go here http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm under "belkin" pick your model number you have written down and then find "Xbox 360 Live" and follow those instructions.

Hes correct its nothing to do with the router. This happened to my friend and hes pretty pissed  . He has to wait until his Subscription is done and that could be anotehr 4 months.

You should have done what i did. Im 17 and i made a Email account which  and said i was 87  means i can play all 18+ games
