Actually SA-MP developers should sue them since its the whole SA-MP thats getting it. But I dont some small group of "geeks" (no offense) will higher a team of lawyers for this.

10 witnesses of the same situation is always better than one. If the whole SAMP of servers experienced the terror from those DDos attacks, they should sue them too. Makes a much reasonable report if a group of people don't approve it than just one.

Legally-speaking, Argonath is a non-profit organization. If they take this to court with evidence, no lawyers will be needed as long as the evidence is strong enough. Hands down this is a damages lawsuit, not a breaking-of-the-EULA lawsuit.

The attack is based on exploit of RakNet bug, on which all master list of SA:MP is running...

Right now we do see only one way of stopping the attack on our main server... That will take a time, as the attack is not a usual DDOS attack... I personally hardly see any other ways to stop attack even with software security due to RakNet system of pinging the servers... As software security can affect on normal players as well...

Attack is going only on one Argonath server... All others were down due to our testing and checking the software security running...

So please be patient and admins please continue your work...

It has also the good side for us as experience with the master list running and its possible problems which showed RakNet system for example, which is good for our own developing... It will prevent us from DDOS attacks of new game servers in master list by exploit of pinging the servers...

We have now managed again to have enough control no to affect the other servers.
That means our MTA servers, TS and radio will continue working during attacks.

Port 7778 is open during attacks.

They can be sent to prison for breaking the Computer Misuse Act.

They can be sent to prison for quite a few broken laws in multiple countries. Even worse, the program and this server are for international use, as is all of the internet, meaning they're breaking both federal and international laws...
