Gillie, the best thing to do is to wait till you have experiance with the forums and get to know it well.
Other facts such as applying for admin might help.

But.. the main factor; don't ask questions like this.. e.g Can I become admin, Can I become a forum mod etc...

These people are chosen specifically to do the job
