Why is NoN banned?

In the last post on that page, TeaM-Solid said this:

I see a number of problems with this post.  Firstly, players of Argonath or for that matter of any server are welcome to play in Now or Never.  We have never banned a player just for having played on another server.  We don't discriminate against people (which, frankly, is what you are doing).

Secondly, who says you are allowed to ban members of NoN and =RM= without warning?  I'd like to have a word with them.  By the way, NoN and =RM= have never been joined in any way.  There was a suggestion early on that the two clans should merge, but that was voted against and it never happened.  I would link you to the page but the link would no doubt get edited out (why?).

Thirdly, I'd just like to ask what is wrong with the tags?  Are you trying to deny to your users the existence of servers other than Argonath?

Last but not least: what have we done to deserve ban-on-join?  Some older members of =RM= crashed Argonath a few times, and I can fully understand how you would no longer extend a welcome to them.  I'd do the same thing!  But what I can't understand is why a clan who has never been hostile towards you is now banned?  I'd like an answer!

After the same thing happened with =RM= (some children think if they created own server they can start to shit the old one), they united (MTA:VC)...
After both servers lost in developing they moved to the VC:MP, where again separated... But this does not remove the punishment for hacking and flaming attacks on our servers they did...
And still none of them including their leaders, who were actually the provokers of war between servers - none apologized...

So its obviously as =RM= so NoN are not allowed on Argonath... We do not want to have anything with this two communities...

You could be not involved in that scenes of 'piece and wisdom' but at least I hope you understand the position of Argonath... We do not start wars between servers, we do not flame anyone and we do not hack any servers... We do not support it and do not support such communities...

=RM= joined our server a very long time ago in the beginning of Argonath.
At that time the leader Phantom became one of our most trusted admins.
He disappeared for some time, and then came back. We gave him back our trust.
The =Rm= server was initially announce as clan only server, but was soon formed to a public one.
In answer for our trust and giving his clan a place to grow and attract new members he repaid us by shitting and crashing our server.
At that time ALL =RM= members were noticed in crashing, hacking or recruiting.

Now or Never was a clan formed on Argonath. They too decided to open their own server and flame and shit on Argonath.

We are not against stopping hostilities, but those who started to recruit people behind our back, and make a habit out of flaming and shitting on us should make the first step.
If you leaders are willing to apologize for their past actions and will promise to take strong measures if there is any repetition we will consider opening our server for the members of these clans. As long as we feel their idea has not changed and the main reason that NoN or =RM= wants to play on Argonath is to recruit people to their server, we will continue our policy.

Our users are free to play where they want, but if they join clans that we know as hackers and crashers, we have reason to suspect they will too fall in to this behavior and will see them as o longer welcome.

Thank you for your response Gandalf.  You and John_Lob should know that Now or Never wasn't created by F&F.  It was never a F&F clan server - just run by the same person (me) and played by a large number of the same people. (really!)  There was false information about this posted on the Sforza website for a while.  I spoke to Miami and it got taken down a while ago.

Now or Never was a clan formed on Argonath.  The name carried on but the clan didn't.  As for any flaming on Argonath, that has nothing to do with [NoN], which was formed just a few months ago when the server came to VC:MP - Now or Never wasn't a clan until then.  It now has a completely new membership from the old [F&F] - only one or two of the original players remain.  We aren't crashers or hackers!

Argonath players are welcome in Now or Never and I really feel that Now or Never players should be welcome in Argonath.  Members of [NoN] want to play on your server because it is good!  Not because we want to advertise!

Can't we all just get along?

F&F only played on Now or Never.  It was never a F&F clan server and F&F doesnt even exist anymore.  Also, NoN is in no way related to RM.

I'm now owner of =RM= and will be changing it loads. The previous owners who caused the problems have now left. I'm sorry for what the clan has done in the past and hopefully shouldnt happen again in the future.
=RM= is having a new start and I want players to have a choice of servers to play on. I'm planning on making a way to easily report players so you can submit screenshots, videos, etc with ease, and action will be taken against members if necessary.

I'll make sure players that recruit on other servers get some sort of punishment.

But the problem I can see here is that people can easily pretend to be =RM= members.  So it would help if I had the MSN of a developer or admin so they can provide more trustworthy evidence (and an IP to check if they are even a member).

Could you possibly let =RM= members play in Argonath if i do this and could you posibly unban banned members?

Sorry if this post is abit too off topic, but I feel that I should post here as you explained why you hate =RM=, etc.

Well dude, if we were "Family" to you, you wouldnt back-stab us and join a clan that frankly, stole a bunch of our Regulars, (one of those regulars claimed that they were pulled into NoN, and now it is not an option to leave... which may assume that they did not plan to stay?). When NoN first came around, i thought.. sure, ill have a look since it seems harmless enough. I arrived at the server, and was asked to become an admin to help the server grow.. I refused, as i am a loyal argonath player.. which i explained. I was flamed and shitted untill i finally felt the need to leave. On returning to the argonath server i found out that NoN had tried to convert a large majority of [TAC](which was my clan at the time), claiming that if they joined NoN they would receive admin rights. in other words, they were [STEALING] our clan members. since then, i have tried to have nothing to do with NoN. all members who joined NoN from our clan/s [TAC]/[BM] were suspended from the clan. But a week or so after NoN had settled we had members of the NoN clan join the server and Flame/DM/Attempt to crash scripts.. using a certain command i will not mention. I think that NoN deserves to be banned, and should not be unbanned AT ALL.

Recently i discovered that =RM= were allowed back, on hearing this i decided to join the server to congradulate them, but all i got was a shitload of abuse from =RM=PimP. and his little friend. I think that they should remain banned such as NoN are.

Romeo... i wasnt "forced" or someone made me a offer to be admin, i helped the server as so i won the cargo usually the things i get is because i deserve them and not because ppl simply want to brain wash me. TAC fell apart but you should have been the leader  :bow: in BM you werent capable of being one as mclovin wiped you out as leader (  im not saying that he was so good that wiped you out ) We had good times the SFS thing, sergiu, the no script dm thing where we were framed to get banned,  but we kept strong. The glue dryes and breaks, thats how time works.

Dude. you told me on the argo server that you got caught up in NoN and felt you couldnt escape. its on the chat logs... so no point in lieing.
And in [BM] i was perfectly capable of being leader thank you very much. But Marco and I had been planning since the start of BM to disband and merge
both clans into the clan that is Ancelotti. And Mclovin DID NOT wipe me out. i quit BM to be Anclotti and left Mclovin incharge. One of the best decisions i have made on the
Argonath server.


NoN was your choice. I dont care now that you left for NoN, because we replaced everyone who betrayed us and now we have a Strong clan. Which is awsome, Ancelotti is better than TAC
ever was, so we made a good choice by merging both the clans.  :rules:

Now we have leaf links as our HQ  :cool:
