I went to the enterance of the vault from the outside although I had to use Radaway about every half second lol, died just as I reached the wooden door.

I dont think I've ever disliked a game as much as Fallout 3, and I played Runescape for two years :P

Ok, so I've been playing bout 2 days now, and i got the task from burke to blow up Megaton, now, ive saved it, and talked to the sherrif, and told him, got there, and burke shoots him, and I shot burke, and picked up the weapons and accesories, and got the XP and leveled up, just wondering, is it best to blow up megaton, what are the rewards?

DEFUSING: A Nice house in Megaton and problably 100 caps.
DETONATING: IDK but I am sure it's some caps and a room at Tenpenny Tower?

Blow it: 5000caps,room at tenpeny tower,lots! of bad carma, merc on your head...

Its all up to you,for me (played both) better things come if you save it..
a little spoiler: Part where three dog says about father, on good carma, he just told me, on bad,he made me go retrive satelite dish and fix relay station...

Anyone know some good locations of some weapons that will keep me alive in the wasteland, at the moment im getting PWNED by fire ants

If your versing one, just keep your distance and aim for the head. For multiple fire ants, aim for the antenna and they will frenzy. I use hunting rifle against them, but I tried laser pistol on them before and they disintegrate quite fast. Any decent firearm should do though, you just need to know how to fight them although my favorite weapon is the hunting rifle so I use that for nearly everything. Hunting rifles you can just get off Raiders.

The part of Three Dog, even tho you have "Good" Karma (not Very Good) you will still need to fix relay station.

MORE ONE SPOILER:
If you blow Megaton, when you are at Memorial place with Dad, he will say he is dissapointed with you, if you defuse bomb he will be proud.
If you don't give a shit about the bomb he will most likely not say anything I think.

Dogmeats gone, I left him at my room at Rivet City, went to do some quests, upon return, he was gone, I checked Megaton, Vault 101, Scrapyard, nada, permanent???

I would go to Vault 101 and wait 24 hours, but if you're really desperate and still can't find him after searching a lot, you can use the console. Assuming he didn't die, you can skip step 4:

1. Type in console: save savegamename 1 (this saves a game but the 1 at the end makes Fallout open up a notepad file with a list of all hex ids, which you will need to spawn Dogmeat)
2. Search for Dogmeat in the text file and get his hex id (there will be two listed somewhere in the file so try the second one if the first one gives you an error message on the next command)
3. Type in console: prid ID (if you are using the correct id, a text saying "Dogmeat" (ID) should appear on the top of the screen, otherwise you need to try the other ID)
4. Type in console: resurrect
5. Type in console: moveto player 1 1 1

You can use this process for any NPC as long as you can find him/her/it in the text file unless you already got the id from google or you click on the body of the NPC whilst in console as this does the same as the prid command.

Ghost, Xbox360 here, and I waited at the vault, what, 48 hours? no return of my beloved campanion, I left him at the hotel, oh, the door was open, done a ton of quests, any idea, bug, glitch??
