My computer is very strange!

Hi..
well my computer specs are
AMD Athlon XP 1500+ 1.35 GHz , 256 RAM memmory, GeForce FX5200 40GB HD (free space 22GB) MSI baby motherboard Memmory slots: DDR 133, PC100 PC2100
Well, i placed more 256 of memmory and it became 512 and more laggy also..
it was like my computer was using 128mb of memmory..
well more memmory = more lag?
Ah, also i would know if i can run Resident Evil 4
so, why my computer is strange?

also i like my computer, he has to be my mate along 3 years... but he is looking small .. too small and old for run nice games in high detail, i will buy a new but that will take some time..

i formatted my computer earlier, i noted some differences..
i was running NSFU2 in low detail without lag.. now i run on medium detail...
my friend has RE4 so i wish know if i can run this game..

example u got lie this Mem.Slot A=mem1  Mem.Slot B=mem2
try changing so its Mem.Slot A=mem2  Mem.Slot B=mem1

256 = Normal
I placed Two memmorys of 128, they were PC 133

So, there is any way to run RE4 in my "Awesome" computer?
