What do you think? It will be better than other console versions? Are there gonna be mods to download? And at least we got fraps and we can record good videos

AFAIK,there are already some,i watched on some website a video,where car was like tank smashing everyone,and not reducing speed and damaging.

And at least we got fraps and we can record good videos

There is a builded-in video recorder,just as in GTA:SA Singleplayer,but you can also Edit the video within the game.\

First of all, PC doesnt always rule (to bad).
Lots of game company's really don't care about a PC version of a game, aka. EA Games, check there games on the console's and then the game game on the PC, the PC version is f**ked up.
I personaly heared that GTA IV for the PC kinda requires a big ass good PC if you wanna run it on max.
I really don't understand why Altair says with a smiley face "Will the game be better then the console" -Yes like always-,  oh? every game is way  better on the PC, you kidding me?
I personaly play way more on my PC then on the PS3, but still i am realistic to myself and know that the quality from game on the PC has gone way down, why? because of all the pirating.
Game company's that make shitloads of money every year still cry like little bad guyes because of the pirating so they just do it this way.
So the PC clearly doesnt rule, thats why there so many exclusive's at the Xbox and PS3 and not comming to the PC, because it owns so hard eh?
Also what i really don't hope is that Rockstar is going to use SecuROM as the game protection (as every game company is doing that atm), if you wanna have more info on what SecuROM does to your PC just wiki it.

Also i'v been talking with some friends about "what if some programer group makes a better multiplayer mod for GTA IV".
I think the Roleplay will go way down, there aint so much options in GTA IV.
Also the driving is harder and needs time to get used to, so get ready for noobs to ram the shit out of everybody.
Oh yeah and politie with no peper spray (spray can) and nightstick will also be great (for the hardcore Roleplay servers).
Also not the option to buy houses because of the lack of interiors will be awesome.

Well the driving aint realistic, it come closer to being realistic tho if you look at VC or SA.
But the problem is, people can't even keep on the right lane and when they turn the car they even take a part of the sidewalk with them.
Imagine GTA IV driving...
We will see how it does, for roleplay, a lack of items will be a great problem, as one of the best things on roleplay was the cops (on the hardcore RP servers, not Argonath ofcourse) who did there job great, used the spray as a peper spray, knew the tiers of force on when to use the nightstick and when to use or aim a firearm.
I think Argonath will just work good on a GTA IV, just some basic script and give 20 people admin and they'r good to go.
But for the hardcore RP servers who really wanna have realistic roleplay is going to be a problem.

I think it will not be a problem for a Argonath RPG GTA IV:MP

The main problem is if there is a script scriptable and if Pirate mod online comes ....

Other problems will be fixed after some time

Nop,im not kidding.
PC Always had advantages before every console coz of getting good graphics and LOTS Of more features.
Example:Crysis
Better graphics,but game is really a shit :P.
We already got DirectX 10.1 on some videocards,while all Consoles are not upgradable,and they cost lots of more than a PC,their games are also too expensive.
But you already said one BIG disadvantage to PC:Piracy.
Even though,im partly a pirate myself,i see greatly that developers in nowadays are trying to make games not putting their soul in it,but putting their wish of getting money ASAP to become more richer.
World is rolling around the money. And thats shame.
Only several developers make good games,like L4D,GTA IV,Orange Box,WoW.Everyone else just stupidly put on good graphics,but a shitty story and mega stupid gameplay.

Hm,firstly,lack of items isn't great problem,great problem is for imagination.IF you cant imagine how to roleplay a cop,its your problem,then go as criminal/civil etc.
Also,Argonath got "Paruni" as partner ( or don' remember what Paruni for Argo is ),and its not a big problem for Paruni to create a DM Server,if you still wanna play GTA IV.

I also don't get your point, Example: Crysis? umm Crysis gotta be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 still, i am kinda sure it will look as good as the PC also.

FIFA 09  Console it looks geat, PC it looks like fifa 07.
NHL 09 Console it looks and plays great, on the PC it looks and plays like shit.
Bully On the PS2 it ran great, on the PC now 3 years later it has so many bugs..
Fallout 3, needs a good PC to run on max. specialy that RPG mode, on Console it looks great and doenst lag abit.
Bioshock, great game on the console, almost unplayable to the PC thanks to the DRM.

I can go on all day if you want, but i think you get the point.

The only thing the PC is GREAT at is the MMORPG's, specialy WoW deserves all the credit.

On hardcore roleplay servers a police officer gotta follow a 1 week academy, every evaning learning about Tiers of force, CPR, Arms of Force, PIT on when to use it, Radio commands, 10 codes and lots and lots more, i'v been a academy intstructor on many hardcore roleplay servers myself, i know what i am talking about, its a pain.
I would not like to see police officers run around with a bat because in GTA IV there isnt even a baton.
And DM? bah... it was to easy in GTA:SA and it was also to easy on GTA:IV, the only good DM a GTA online game ever had was GTA:VC, it was sooo bugged and laggy that it was even hard to kill something and that gave a challange.

About EA and FIFA/NBA.They only make a stupid excuse not to put good graphics just for not to loose time to make the game,because if they do,everyone will download it through pirate trackers,and they will as always,im sorry for this sentance,but they will suck silently in the corner as always. EA Itself never tried to make good games,they always tried to simply get money and live with it,not to make players happy.E.g.: Battlefield Heroes,which is made amazingly stupid and there is a lack of gameplay,+ the "cartoon" style is faked from TF2.

Even though i didn't found any bugs in Bully yet.If what you have said is true,im really ashamed of Rockstar,and beggining to worry about GTA IV Port

You do know that Valhalla doesnt even come close to hardcore roleplay and that its all about friends politic out there?
Valhalla started when they kissed Fears ass so much for the Godfather script and when Fear sold it to them the server was still a big DMing mess.
Even till the day of now, Valhalla tryed so many things, but nothing brought them real roleplay.
I could join the Yakuza in 1 day... just by asking the guy, Hey is me Robin, can i join in?  "Sure Robin, welcome to the Yakuza"
I was a officer by just aplying on the damn forum, they didnt even trained me... ( not that it was needed but i could be some random noob also).
I even was underboss of S.S.K. because of my friend Milot and we rolled straight trough all the other gangs.
So Valhalla aint really a hardcore roleplay server.

I agree with you, i personaly think the "hardcore roleplay" is bullshit, its full of 15 year old virgin kids who wanna be gangster in they'r life but don't have the balls to make a move in real, so they use SA:MP roleplay as a way to make them feel gangster.
Personaly i think the best roleplaying days of SA:MP are over, the most good roleplayers left already and its only a handfull of new macho roleplayers left.
I mean how funny is it when some 14 year old says to you "Ey, get away from my car before i break your legs" i most of the time PM them back with "Do you never feel ashamed?"

Well you may thing that most Good Rpers left but you are wrong.. Everyday RPers are getting better and better... I have seen great RP On argonath rpg with that simply and amazing command /me ... Rp its in ur imagination , with a command /me not 1 thousand commands....So if you call  hardcore Rp when u need 3 months to get into a police team, need to learn aalll that commands then i disagree..

hardcore Rp comes from imagination, you may not seen a lot ingame because you are inactive but try to RP with Curtis's hale gang.. How much do they play here? 1-2 years? They are playing their roles great.. .. Take an example of ARPD, we are trying for the best.. you know typing everytime the codes is a bit annoying and mind may got confused some times


So better come ingame, hangout with some ""hardcore"" rpers and then think about Argonath RPG

ps. and something else.. We play here for FUN. We dont stuck into a screen and learn all those ""hardcore"" commands

ps2. Oh and something else, if GTA IV:MP will have the /me command, and SAMP players move into IV:MP, it will be great as SAMP

Man just shut up if you don't know what you are talking about.
90% of all the goddamn idea's that your so called gang have is from LS-RP.
And the reason why i am inactive here in Argonath is because i don't wanna roll with 1 goddamn gang all the time becasue the rest doesnt roleplay.
The reason why i am inactive in ALL of SA:MP is because i laugh my ass of the people who have to much "imagination".
People who roleplay a gang but never been or seen one in real or people who roleplay a lawyer or judge's but never been in a court room.
Jserg, i know your a Argonath fanboy as you also tryed to convince me 3 months ago. "Go to the gasstation, much roleplay there".
I stand there as a dickhead for 40min untill some funny guy rams his car in the gas station and blows me up.
Please, just please, as i said goddamn 2times already, the whole GTA:IV online is not going to be a problem, it is going to be a problem for the REAL RP community tho.
