Vice City Mafia Ranks!

I thought of this last night, while being told the details about ARPD and watching a few training sessions. As a Mafia Boss, and one of the richest players, i felt no need to take part in ARPD, but as i found out, ARPD members get special commands and there is a special ranking system, a system of authority. If this IS introduced, it will unbalance the Crime-Authority system making the mafia's of Vice City underpowered. In the real world, The criminal underworld opperates on a similar ranking system as the authorities, They have under-bosses, Godfathers, dealers, hitmen ect, much like Police chiefs, Senior police officers, patrolmen ect. I think (if possible) there could be a similar system for the criminal side of things. With special commands, skins, authority.

I see no fault in this idea and it would give the server something that no other vice city server has anything even close too, which would surely bring in the players AND be extremely fun 

I know it would be a big project n all, but it would be worth it for the percentage who refuse to alter theyre criminal ways, and i would introduce police CASES, instead of just a chase and kill.

But I am not getting how would this work,
arpd is the one thing, mafias could be many. Top rank=Leader, that would lead to everybody starting there own mafia(just to get the top rank)


also....why only mafia? there are players who like to be loners, if the mafia guys should get money by robbing a bank(scripted) the loners should get too
and... who would award ranks?

I dunno how it would work, but there could be an official mafia thing, and the leaders could not just make a mafia. they could only make clans, and to make it a mafia they would need to climb the ranks

I like the concept of climbing ranks,
this way new players will always try to follow rules and RP better to get the scripted privileges.

as for now it looks like a half-baked idea, try to modify it into a scriptable thing

I think the current status of the ARPD (being in power) is good enough, as we have enough criminals popping out from all the different holes in the ground.

Well gangs dont just have randomers pop up out of nowhere, they have leaders who have proven there leadership, gangs have ranks and rules of there own.

Maybe not the ranks, but atleast some special commands for more elite criminals.

It may not be a mafia feature, but instead criminal status. If only police officers can have status and commands for being in ARPD, it will make it unbalanced for criminals. that means that starter cops (P.I.G) officers can do criminal stuff aswell, ARPD cops can also do it, which is unfair. I never want to be a cop, all i want is to have some commands/special features for the bad guy
