La Historia

1980, Vice City harbour

Antonio Montana, also known as Tony arrives in the United States of Argonath. He is originally from Havana, Cuba. He decided to come to the U.S.A to get the money, the power and the ladies three years before. When he arrives, he gets questioned by U.S. customs officials about his scars and gang tattoos, and they accuse him of being an assassin. Tony has got a big scar on his face, which gives him a characteristic impression.

The guards says: “Where did you get that scar”? “Eating pussy?”

Tony replies: “You think you get a scar like this from eating pussy?

He, along with his best friends Castor, Jaaskaa, cDa, Chase, Type, Lombro, Angel, Reclus and Jack are refused entry and sent to a make-shift detention camp.

1980, in the camp

In the camp, “Freedomtown”, Tony carries out a cartel hit that earns him and his friends an early release, green cards and a job washing dishes at a tiny food stand. Tony soon gets tired of the dishing job. He knows what he can do, and he’s determined to do it. After a while, a man called Omar offers Tony and his friends a job to do a cocaine exchange with some dangerous Colombians led by Hector “the Toad” at the Sun Ray hotel in Vice City. The deal goes horribly wrong. Angel and Tony enter the hotel and they find themselves ambushed. Angel is horribly dismembered with a chainsaw, and Tony would have been next if the rest of the team hadn't crashed in, in the last minute. Tony’s friends enters the hotel and kills the rest of the Colombians inside. Tony and his friends escape with the money and the cocaine, so he and his associates earn the respect and admiration of a powerful drug kingpin, Frank Lopez.

1981, Vice City

Frank Lopez offers them jobs. Tony is not satisfied with their change in fortune, and sets to establish himself as a major player in the cocaine industry. After some time, Tony wins the trust of the suave Alejandro Sosa, a Bolivian drug lord. Through his dealings with Sosa, Tony quickly rises in Miami’s underworld. Frank Lopez gets murdered and Tony Montana takes over Frank’s distribution. Tony builds up a reputation as a fearless druglord, and he binds powerful contacts.

Soon Tony completes his first big deal with Alejandro Sosa. Tony buys 2000 kilo of cocaine from Sosa which he sells for $140 million dollars. The money was laundered for him by a corrupt banker, but Tony wants more and it doesn’t take long until he’s making $10–$15 million a month.

1982, Vice City

In this period Tony meets some cuban friends that came with them to U.S.A and recruit them. They were called Lite and Metal. A group of Bolivan drug dealers, Alejandro Sosa and a CIA officer offers to help Montana out of his legal troubles. In exchange, Montana must assist in the assassination of a journalist attempting to expose corruption in the Bolivian government. Tony gets angry when he sees the targets wife and kids get into the target car, and he kills the man who was just about to blow the car up with a bomb. This mission was a mess up. He returned to Vice City.

1983, Vice City

Tony ordered some of his men to get some boats to pick up a cocaine shipment near the docks. When Tony is alone with few guards in his house, Sosa sends an assassination team to Montana's mansion, taking out his guards before they can raise an alarm. High on cocaine, Tony takes the attackers on with an M16. At this time Montana’s men are coming back to the mansion after doing a succesfull deal in the docks. Soon Montana’s men notices the attack in Montana’s Mansion and raid the mansion causing a wild state of confusion in which Montana was able to escape with his men in the boats. After this Montana’s Family move to the state of San Andreas to start a new life far from Vice City. They dream in restore their drug empire and become powerful again.

Four years ago, Antonio Montana and some of his family members disappeared in a supposed plane crash. The plane or their bodies were never found. After that everyone supposed the family came to an end. One year after Tony’s disappearance, the authorities finally declare Antonio Montana dead. His brother Rafael Montana who was living in Vice City at the time is notified that he is able to claim the properties of his deceased brother. There are rumors that he has decided to come to San Andreas with the objective to finish was his brother left incomplete.

El Jefe

The Head of the family is a very powerful man, with a vast amount of dignity. He is always seen surrounded by his men, and that makes it hard to meet him in person. He is known for being a fearless man, determined to do what ever it takes to reach his goals.

El vice Jefe

El vice Jefe is the person second in command. He handles the biggest deals and plans the toughest jobs. He is the one who commands all the chiefs of the different sections. He is the underboss of the family, and the right hand of the Jefe. If the Jefe would suffer from a desease or even death, the vice Jefe would take over his place.

El Consigliere

El Consigliere is the person third in command. He handles deals of smaller size than the vice Jefe, but he is still an important man. He also advises the vice Jefe and helps him with various things.

El Jefe de Seguridad

The chief of security is the person in charge of the security matters in the family. This includes guarding the properties of the family and making sure there isn’t any cockroach spies in the family. He is also the one who organizes the soldiers and the Captain if the family would be attacked by a rival family.

El Jefe de Relaciones

The chief of relations is the person that checks up on other families and what they are doing. He advises the vice Jefe and the Consigiliere about families to be friends with and families to be enemies to.

El Capitan

The Captain commands the lower ranks of soldiers and assures that they do what they are supposed to do. The Captain earned his rank for being a good leader and an experienced soldier.

Los Guerrilleros

The experienced soldiers are the soldiers that have shown the Captain what they’re made of. They use heavier guns and more ammunition than the normal soldiers, and they are generally better at fighting.

• Donovan Montana

Los Soldados

The Soldiers are the people who handles the dirty deals. They always follow orders of the Captain and the Jefe’s. A soldier is an enforcer that have shown good qualities and therefore reached a higher rank.

Los Gatilleros

The enforcers are the lowest ranks in the family. They are trial members that earned the respect of the higher ranks, and therefore got accepted in the family.
