Once again people using 'gay' in bad context..  :roll: anyway, I have a feeling this topic will eventually be locked.
I won't be the one to lock it as I do agree with the fact that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Anyway, I do agree with some of the points, to an extent.. Well, I have seen many people asslick to admins especially to the 1337 admins. But this has been going on for years and people cant help but doing it.

You wont suceed in stopping it, but I think many people will realise many of the points you have mentioned Troy.

I like greeting everyone that is friendly to me, and big part of those people are admins. I usually greet those admins everytime they get on, as much as I greet any people.

Example: If Gandalf logs in the server, I always say "hey gandalf!" (mostly because I'm usually a cheerfull person)
When he logs in, generally we get a spam chaos. Some people yes, they are saying "OMG it's Gandalf!" because they are asskissers. But some others, such as me, greet him because we think he is a great person, hardworker and very friendly. But being one of the server owners doesn't really matter to me.
What I mean is: I treat people for who they are, as in the personality, not the rank that person occupies. So if you see me greeting him, I hope you won't think it's asslicking.

Otherwise, I agree with everything you say.

Every server is corrupt in one way or another.. I'm glad most people agree with me about the asslicking thing, because it does seriously piss me off..

Squeak , you should see MTA then it's more of a Chatroom than anything due to the Fact if it never had outgame chat it'd be much Better.  On the Respected Clans note am not saying you pointing directly at me so don't get all offensive but i didn't Join R* for Respect, i respect those who respect me, if they be an ashole to me then fine i'll be an asshole back simply put.

I basically agree with the points you listed Rory.
The problem is, that 70% of the people just fool around, spam the main chat, /su people for silly reasons, and are desperately looking for popularity/attention. 20 % of the people would like to RP, but they don't, because it's impossible to do because that 70% doesn't/would ruin it all. And the last 10% RP in their own closed society without contacting anyone.

One thing you have to realise... This is just a game starring alot of people who are in the begining complete strangers to each other... Most people get stuck up with admins just beceause he/she finds them most trusting...
Don't let it get out of hand... What your saying here is that Nobody, Yet nobody may say hello to anyone entering the server; And every community has his weirdo's.. Things are just like that and will rarely change unless anything should change unexpected.. We can complain about it, yess... But would that solve alot?
