I dont know about other admins, so i will speak for myself...
Personally, im doing admin work all the time im on server. Since i became an admin, i stopped Roleplay, hanging out with my friends...
Admin team is something more than clan, more than friends... we are like family, supporting ourself and fighting any argues inside A-team if there are any.

It is not easy to do admin work.. Why? There are a lot of reports, to which admins have to respond. We really try to answer every single report, but its impossible if there are like 2 admins per 50 people on server..
Every admin after some report, takes that report and is starting to take actions.

Now point 1: To players shouting "admin freeze him!, admin kick him he carjacked me!!, admin warn him!!" and moaning that admins dont read reports...
Admin, to take any actions against player, has to see on his OWN EYES that player is rulebreaking.. so if after report, reported player is following rules, and there was no admin who saw player rulebreaking, we cannot take any actions against him.
We HAVE TO see rulebreak on our OWN EYES.

Point 2: Hackers...
Admins respond on hacker reports immediately... Sometimes we are also dropping our current report to check is it really hacker reported..
Writing in public chat "ID 17 HACKER HE GOT ARMOUR!!!! BAN HIM!!!" or flooding "ID 17 HACKER BAN HIM!!!" is just stupid and without any sense.... We do READ reports and we TRY TO answer all.... especially hacker reports.... Its obvious that person who hacks, and who will notice "BAN ID 17 ITS HACKER" on main chat, he will leave...  then come back after few hours under other name... so why is that needed? Just a little trust to your team...

Point 3: Money..
Ive heard several times that admins have unlimited money... or they are earning money for their job...
NO  -  admins do not take any money for their admin work...

Point 4: Situation Players vs Admins..
Many players are moaning that this or that admin is abusing his commands.. if you see admin abusing, contact any Argonath Developer or write report to [email protected]...
Many players are also trying to piss admins off.. Why? We are working for you.. Not for ourself.... to secure YOU from hackers, dropping our roleplay and fun from playing with accepting invitation to admin team... Imagine how server would look like without admins... Carjackers, deathmatchers, hackers, rammers, cop abusers etc...
Think about it...



And now about voice.. You would like to have the same voice as Main Admins? Its their server, they put here really, really much work and private time to make it working.. do you think someone pays them for it? no.. so at least minimum of respect to their voice is pretty obvious and normal, isnt it?

In my eyes, admins are just players for me.
Maybe u see it strange, but I dont care if someoen is admin or not.

Look they have the responsibility to have the server clean, and when they are order me to do something I will do.
But in RP, chat I do not make difference between admins or players.
The only things whats different is their commands, and their name on /admins.
I listen to them when needed but on other things they are just my friends (most of them, there is no admin I hate)

You're not a good admin, you accused me of lying about having a bug and when I got carkilled I died as sus, and respawned innocent so I did /q to fix bug and came back. Then you tempban me for /q abuse and lying, wtf? One other admin I know lies and rulebreaks but I won't name him.

Every one think of this.... Which people can you go up to and say this to "f*ck you!" would you only say that to certain people(either "imporant people" or "worthless people"), all people, or no one at all. The real reason why we let certain people have more authoirty and word is because either one we have "awe" for them, we repsect their high power. Or two, we are afriad of them and what they can do or maybe just want to ass lick...

People that can do something, good people, nice people, not nice people AKA annoying piss off"ers", the disrespected, bad reputation, asskissers. A few of the many types of reasons people's voices have different meaning. If for example someone who constantly flames goes and reports someone for flaming them it's going to be taken into consideration that person probably provoked it. Someone who's been banned before and got lucky of coming back will be hated on by some and not "heard" such as regular "good" or "nice" players. In summary it's really that we're all equal but when someone with a good reputation who is a better person will get "looked at", "seen", "put into consideration" before someone who isn't a good person. By the regular player that is, in my opinion. Being an admin most of the time just means that you're one of these "nice people", hence the voice being heard. If you look at it, the people who help others, show respect to a limit, know what to do around what people, voice their own opinion, know when to stop/start something, and know when to SHUT UP are the ones who are heard.

^ Damn true. That's pretty natural. That "equal rights" thing unfortunately is just a dream.
Sometimes admins are right, and if you discuss with them, you get a "drop it" + a banana.
Sometimes admins are wrong and they know it, and if you discuss with them, you get a "drop it" + banana.

I've learned from past experiencies that trying to improve the server through arguing is not the best way. Why? Because you're not in the same level as you would be with your fellow player. Instead, be the exemplar player and teach the others who are in the same level and then the "bad admin" will realise that he is wrong and will take action to fix it.

Admins do have more power in my point of view and I can't deny it, so what? That's not necessarily bad. Just live with it. Actually, there is a need for people with more power, otherwise the server would be a big mess, with no order. As long as they don't abuse it...

Some players are very quick to shout: OMG BAD ADMIN. But honestly, most of them need a "mirror" so they'd realise how they are being ironic/agressive towards others...

@Legend: The purpose of my posting this topic is becuase I am angered when I see injustices such as when a player makes a topic and the entire community shouts the email in his ears, locks his topic, and calls him a spammer, and where a main admin / developer makes a topic with the exact same words or point and the majority of players kiss his / her ass and agree 100 percent.
