The Forelli family is an Italian-American Mafia family based in Liberty City. The Don of the Forelli family in 1986 is Sonny Forelli, who would be killed by Tommy Vercetti, a renegade Forelli family member in Vice City. They had planned to expand their empire "down south" by opening relations with local drug cartels through Tommy Vercetti, but that never happened due to Sonny's death and Tommy's defection. The main base of operations for this once powerful organization was Marco's Bistro before Sonny's death. The Forelli family used to be the most powerful family in Liberty City, but the deaths of many high-ranking members (such as Sonny, Giorgio and Franco) have led to their subsequent downfall over time.

Forelli Family Rank RolesThe Godfather (founder)This is the highest rank, there can only be one Don, He has the biggest power of all he cannot be touched and must be treated with great respect. He is not to be left alone while on duty as Stracci for example a business trip, He must always be accompinied by a member of Stracci Family. Only the Don decides whether a member of the stracci family is fit to be made a 'made man' to be a made man means that you are untouchable and cannot be shot and if a family wishes to do so much consult to you first.
Underboss/RighthandThis is the rank just under the godfather, There can be more than one righthand, these people are made men and cannot be touched unless there is a meeting between the family's. They have a big role in the drugs industry and call the shots when it comes to narcotics.They also handle allieship
ConsigliereConsigliere (or councillor) is an important position in a crime family.The Consiglieres watch over Capo's works, lead all Ranks lower then they are and they report their actions to the Godfather or the Right Hand. They also handle the law in the family and as a consultant their opinions are valued very highly on what to do in a crisis or investment.
CapoThe Capos Control the "muscle" of the family, they lead the "bye bye part" of the mafia business, they don't take shit and are definitely not afraid to get their hands dirty.
Street SoldiersIf u are a soldier it means u have been promoted to an official member, u are now allowed to order hits.
