His uncle was smart enough to make a run for it and grab the first ticket to Vice City. The man had some contacts there so rented a hotel room in Washington Beach with all the money he has.. Later on, Leone was informed that Emilio Mendez ran away to Vice.. 3 days after, he was found shot dead in his bed.
