Leaving forever

I Am leaving argo forever, SA Player don't PM me asking "i can haz cash" i already gave it out to my friends and the good roleplayers.

There are several reasons for my leaving, i have been in argo since practically the beginning, I've watched the server start with just a few players and get bigger and bigger, and im a hardcore roleplayer, i couldn't honestly say anything about the old argonath that im about to say about the new one.

When i first Joined argo, Clans like [AV] where still new....These where the good days, a Small community with the occasional new player, everyone knew everyone and everyone was a regular. Aragorn would actually even play, instead of just coming in-game to do a small party or fix a command.
People where friendlier, We didnt have problems with metagaming and powergaming, it was just a small group of people with really nothing except the /me command.
As the years went on argo got bigger, i joined the SA community and played that more often, again...a small community where everyone knew everyone.
i played in the orginal SA Scripts where people actually had to make a effort to roleplay, again, hardly any cases of power or metagaming.
Once argonath started getting bigger i thought this was good for the community, new players was always a good thing, and for awhile i was right.
Then  main admins started getting carried away, they started becoming more concerned about popularity then there veteran players.

Now your probally asking what does this matter? why do we care? why is he leaving again?
Because, Once this happened more people became more stuck up and forgot the real reason argonath was made...to roleplay...
Today all people on all the servers care about is money, with the occasional good roleplayer. More admins where recruited, to maintain order, which failed, jsut made things worse.
Admins lost sight of playing the game and became anal whiners thinking just cause they have admin rights they can do anything they want, again, not all admins.
Players began power and metagaming.
i remember when aragorn actually enforced roleplay and didnt use the saying "even though this si a RP server RP is not enforced" And metagaming and pwoergaming where part of the "Unwritten Rules".
Now it's pretty much jsut admin abusers power gamers, metagamers and few good roleplayers.
This has been building up and pushing old players out of the server, Finally its my time to leave.
as much as i have supported this server, and played on it i never thought the day i left permantly would come.
So i do wish most of you goodluck, and those who i dont wish goodluck...well you know who you are, and one of you i made it blatantly clear to, cause your shit was the last straw for me.
i want to thank aragorn and Gandalf for making it a decent 3 years of argonath, and i do wish them many more.

tbh with what you wrote, you obviously haven't visited VCMP for ages, Ive been at VCMP since the start, I don't remember seeing you there since late 07, and you were hardly a regular? When VCMP just began it was going well, then it had a sudden drop of players, oh so its gone to shit has it? Not really, its going greater than ever, so make sure what you say is true

Now explain yourself. MTA:VC too? Dude, the time you were back in Argonath you weren't even in MTA:VC. Maybe for a one day. You say we gone bad? facts-facts-facts! Power or Metagaming- there is no such word in MTA:VC. Bigger community? Hmm, let me see, we went from full server all the time (2006) to the regular 7-10 (2009). Yeah I would say we have grown a lot bigger and no one knows each other anymore.[sarcasm] VC:MP has grown, true but not that big to have such problems. Actually VC:MP has that feeling to me, what I had when I joined Argonath's community in MTA:VC. MTA:SA - Dude, most of the times there is only 1-3 players in-game, who all are mostly experienced players from other Argonath servers, so no meta or power gaming there too. So really Dark, get your facts straight.
