One night in Los Santos in 1989, Julian Johnson shot a drug dealer in Jefferson after a failed drug deal. Julian stole the dealers drugs and ran away. He told his homie Johnny Gat, who just got out from jail what happened. They both started selling drugs, they were growing weed in their home. They were all alone and poor in a ghetto. They needed someone to back them up. By the years they got more friends, hoodrats living like them. The hood was filled with gangs pushing them around, they decided to start their own gang. They called themselves the 3rd Street Saints. Julian were often wearing purple clothes, so they decided to use purple as their color.

mobster is ussually regarded to as a rank for a mafia. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I havn't seen any other group with the rank 'mobster' unless they are a mafia.

Also, other 'Gangs' do not seem to be using the rank 'mobster' therefore it would make sense to do the same, would it not?
