What is the purpose of drinking ?

Why do you drink?: I started drinking when i was 14, The last time i got drunk was last night, to celebrate Valentines day with my girlfriend. I feel that drinking can make people feel more cheerfull, it makes people feel more confident and makes people more open. Last night i was feeling a bit depressed due to personal reasons, but later on when i was drinking i felt more cheerfull and felt i actually wanted to have a good time, it is a mood lifter, but if you take too much it can end badly.
Why are you not drinking ( religion or having the same attitude like me) ? Im athiest, and i enjoy drinking
What pleasure you find in drinking?: I answered above
Are you drinking often ( Everyday, weekends or anything more ) ?: Every weekend
How much money you use on a month when you intake alchohol in your body?: about £9 (Me and my friends put money together to buy alchohol.)

lol cocaine is nasty, it is expensive and highly addictive, and can ruin lives. Though, i suppose that is personal opinion.

If you are taking drugs, stick to the softies. (Weed/hash.. ect)

I must admit that you are right with the things I made with a bold text. But why does these things happend when you are "drunk" ?, why can't we just be like that when we aint drunk or high for this case.

Yeah, me too.. I havent done any coke since last week.. My hands begins to shake and I get all like.. batshit crazy over the smallest thing.. wait, are we talking about the same coke here?

Anyways.. I haven't taken a single beer in my life. Theres like 20 of them in my closet, though. Well, not for me ofcourse.. But they're "Christmas beers" and forgotten.. I wouldn't like to end up falling down the stairs drunk singing swedish folksongs infront of my parents

Sorry for double posting guys, but Romeo I must disagree with you when you are saying cocaine is highly addictive when I am talking by experience its not that addictive as people think it is, you can easly try it once and it effects you but addictive ?, I strongly doubt that but as I cannot talk for other people I must only stick to my own thoughts. Its different from the individual person, and Tupac I admire you if you are not drinking because of your religion but as I think its because you live in the middleeast its quite hard to drink there as people have much faith there, as I live in Denmark we just do what we feel for. Its first now I have been thinking of quitting all the bad things that I am doing, but I gotta start one place but when and where I do not know yet but I am sure that will find place soon enough in my life when I get more mature.

The Alcohol has this effect on us for scientific reasons, Acohol is a drug. it alters your system to make you act this way, when you are under the influence of Alcohol and Drugs, it changes the way you think, thus making you act different. You cannot act like this without being under the influence unless you are just naturally this way.

Well Omri, it depends on the purity of the cocaine that you take. Cocaine at its purest is more addictive than many other drugs at their purest.

I must disagree with you and saying cocaine is not the most highly addictive drug, you and NOBODY else is making the drug addictive, you do choose if you wanna intake alchohol / drugs and nobody else but I do know the "addiction" when you are used to be around with drugs but if you look deeper in it its only you that can change it.

Heroin IS the MOST addictive, but cocaine is still very addictive at its purest. i did not say it was most addictive

Well, being addicted to a drug such as Heroin is extremely easy to do, but extremely difficult do stop. Because after a short period of time of taking this drug, your body refuses to fight it off, and starts using it to function. and after a short period of time, your body begins to depend on it. it becomes like eating/sleeping. Just imagine willfully not eating forever, except you do not die. I have friends who were addicted to such drugs and let me tell you, Seeing them in the state that they get in while trying to get off these drugs is heartbreaking.

I totally understand you, I'm glad that you also got some experience about this subject. But i'm truely sorry for your friends if they have been in that bad environment, once you in it its hard to leave the environment.

Why you choosed to drink then ?

I aleady said; I dont drink much. Only on occasions.. Last time I drank alcohol was last August.

And that was only a few glasses of Sangria, and one glass of Champagne. Didnt really get properly drunk
