Problem with GTA SA, MONEY reward ingame (SAMP)

Hello, finally i'm able to be on the computer again but! When i click on the 'connect' button the game doesn't show up, i've installed the game, SAMP and patched

You may be wondering how this randomly could happend so here's the story.


i "reinstalled" my computer and didn't saved backup (studid i know.) and now i finally have all the drivers installed and the game, SAMP and patch, but it won't work.
i'm happy for answers.

Delete that gta.set file ussually in my documents then gta sa user something

and delete  gta_sa.set file, try then

1. CTRL+ALT+DEL -> Processes -> See if there is a GTA_SA.exe or something like that, if there is select it and press 'End Process' and then repeat until there is no more GTA_SA.exe's or w.e left.  Then try to run the game again.

2. Restart your computer.

3. Uninstall SA:MP, Uninstall GTA, delete GTA folder.  Reinstall.

EDIT: is DirectX 9.0 important? when i press button 'install DirectX 9.0' it comes a install guide but nothin installs :s

Why you guys think he has gta_sa.set file if he installed his Windows again? As we all know, when installing operating system again it requires a HDD formatting.  :roll:


Anyways; try to uninstall all shit again and remove all the folders, then install again and try this downgrade-patch: http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/file/GTA_SA_Downgrader_Patch;74661cd

And if that doesn't work, try to find out if your antivirus-program, additional firewall or Window's own firewall is blocking SAMP or SA.

Try this to your GTA_SA.exe and SAMP.exe:

Right Click > Properties > Computability > Windows 98 (not sure so try others too)
