Argonath RPG - The SA:MP Flash Handbook

Hello, it's time for me to start contributing something to our fine community, and what wouldn't be good to have than a interactive handbook guide?

This project will contain:
*A interactive top view 3d map
*3d interactive partial streetview
*Important locations
*General rules
*Jobs
*Commands
*Videos
*Current Admins
*Locations that are worth to pay a visit
*Tutorials written by the community
*And more I can make up/find

It will also contain colored roads, implying where you can drive at certain speeds.

For this project to be succsesfull, I will need this:

Information from experienced members about how commands works, exactly where they should be used.
Graphical artists that's able to create cover, logo and more.
Some tutorials
And more that will be usefull.

There's only one designer slot avaible, so if more than one designer apply I will try to split up the work. Or simply out of the blue choose one of the applying people.
There's however a max of 3 designer positions avaible.

Designer for me means Graphical stuff.

As for the rest positions. I need more than 5 applies, I can't base information and such on only one person. That would be arrogant, actually. The more people that apply, the better I can base it.

As for flash coding and flash in general, I and only I will hold that position, aswell the Project leading. However, if you are extremly skilled in flash coding and have something very usefull to contribute, contact me and send me the script (instructions too).
Everyone who contributes will be credited.

As for starting the project, i'm currently unsure when RS 4.0 will be released, therefor I want atleast 1 "Start" from ethier CBFASI or Gimli, or one of the founders, as to not begin and then when it's finished RS 4.0 is released and I/contributors will have to redo parts, as to not provide inaccurate information.

All for the Community, with the community.

Now here's a intresting position.

I will need a storyteller/voice overs.

This means I need:

One who can speak English gansta accent [You will take care of voice over for los santos]
One who can speak English with a Chinese acent [You will take care of voice over for San Fierro
One who can speak English with russian accent [You will take care of voice over for Las Venturas]
The one doing voice-over must be neutral in hes speechings. That means anything taking sides or anything voice over will be deleted.
You must have humor and a cool voice.
You must be willing to put your soul and talent in it.
You must act like you speak. Don't just stand there like" Yo dog". Move in your room while you record and do real gangsta sound. As I said, put your soul into it.

For this is a special application:

Accent (Russian, Chinese or Gangsta?):

As for age, limit is from 16 years old and upwards. Reason is that I don't want someone who's to young (i'm not doing it to be evil).

Please don't send false age, will not be appriciated. And I will probaly notice by your voice over that your under 16. Unless you do a good job. In wich case I will be amazed.

If you have a really good reason to think you should be able to do a voice over, even if you'r under 16. And know you will do a good job. PM me personally and send me a voice over.

As for voice overs, it's only 3 places avaible. First come first gets. Will not be be like desginer where you can be able to work even if more than 1 designer applies.
You can however , if you choose gangsta, and it's already busy, resend a new application and choose any remaining voice over spot left.

English Countryman voice. Like Howdy ho?

He will take care of the outsides. Woods, desert and so on. So there's actually 4 voice overs I need.

No no no. I'm not some hardcore programmer of that sort. Way to hard.

What i'm going to make is a interactive handbook in Adobe flash.
You will be able to scroll around in 4 map parts, showing information and so on.
See the first post for contents that's going to be made.

But of course, if I had the programming skills and such to make a real GUI for sa-mp, I would have made it.

To prevent leaks, I cannot accept the RS4 commands list unless permission from Community Leaders or Founders is given.

I'm calculating this should be finished as soon as possible, and we don't want to leak new commands here and there? Atleast I would not want to leak them.
However, the RS3 commands list and explonation about them is acceptable.

However, I remind you. I said PM me, don't post applications or contributions you can do in the topic. PM me on forums.

Actually, the list of commands for Rs4 is already posted somewhere on this forum. So it wouldnt be leaking anything I dont think. And Rs4 test server has been up acouple times too.

Okay, but I will still not do the RS 4.0 stuff.

Mainly because I don't want to wait for it, and I don't want to mix information up.
So I have decided to do the handboook for the RS 4.0 when it's released.

The handbook that i'm going to start developing now will be for RS 3.0

NOTE: You can still apply guys. Anyone can apply as for long this project is running, or until the project team is filled, wich I will decide when I have enough of project workers.
