today i was playing normal like i used to do
and a friend of mine joined the server
i got off duty as a cop so we can get crazy a little
and then a admin or what ever (Hank_Rafferty) was frozed me and told me to change my nick name
because its something with other player and IM BREAKING A RULE (i am not)
he warned me
THAT IS NO REASON TO WARN
im using this nick for a while
this is unfair
i dont care who is "linux" on the server
I WILL NOT CHANGE MY NICKNAME 
aLinux is mine and its registered
linux and alinux are 2 diferent os'es

Personally, if linux wants you to have a different name, I think you should have to. If there was another Matt on this server and he was rulebreaking (not saying you do) people could mistake me for him and I could get a bad rep. And he was here first. But there are some differences.

It should probably have been raised earlier, if there is already another Linux. Personally, the only one I know is you - but I certainly don't let anyone with "Panda" in there name stay on for more than about 5 minutes. If they refuse to change after I ask them politely, then that is there problem.

Today I saw a user online named [AV]Linux_A. What's with the "_A" part?!? Is this you [AV]Linux, or another user? Things between both users was fine and clear until I saw that today. If you are both [AV]Linux and [AV]Linux_A, please change it back to the former. That's basically like trying to purposely confuse users...

If it happens, by some chance, to be you, a_Linux, I suggest changing your name to [AV]aLinux or [AV]a_Linux then to avoid confusion.

If this is a third user, I suggest an investigation into who it really is. A third user with a name that similar to both is just too much.

In any case, other than this unresolved issue, I'm glad to see that you both get along just fine with your names. That's very nobel to come to an agreement like that, and I'm very happy to see it. You're both good roleplayers, so it's a good decision to come to!

[AV]Linux is [AV]Linux_A. The A stands for the family he's in which is the Andersson family.

It's his right to keep his nickname as "aLinux"
If "Linux" want "aLinux" to change name, he have right to do it, coz he joined b4 "aLinux"
But "Linux" didn't want "aLinux" to change his name, so there is no more problem

Still confused? then use "[AV]Linux1 and [AV]Linux2" or else

jack is a bit more common name though, but confusing indeed sometimes

but alinux and linux, yeah its kinda similar,
the only difference is that linux is [AV] member
and i understand why hank warns you for it,
since its almost impersonating
but its really late, its already like it since a month

aLinux has had the name from the start, however [AV]Linux_A has not, therefore, to me it makes simple sense that if anyone must remove their name, it should be [AV]Linux_A.
