A cold morning in Kansas City, Kansas.. A sleeping 16 year old kid, in his mama's house, is woke up from a buzzing noise.

*BZZZZ* *BZZZZ*

"What tha' fuck?"

A groggy Candy awakes, then rolls over to see it's 10 a.m. and he's late for his flight.  He's managed to sleep through his alarm clock, 30 minutes passed the alarms first ring.

"God damnit.."

Candy grabs his luggage he packed the night before and throws on his Rimmer's Jersey, then proceeds to run out the door.  When running out he hears his mother scream, "Jarome! You supposed to be on that flight to see yo' daddy in 45 minutes!!"

While running outside and hopping into his Savannah, he looks in his rear view mirror to check his appearance.. His bruised eye has gotten worse since last night, and his busted lip is covered with crusted blood.

*Suddenly, his car phone rings..*
Candy answers the phone and it's his Father on the other end.

"Jarome, yo' mama just called sayin' yo' late fo' yo' flight..  Don't make me have to whoop yo' ass the first thing I do, when you get 'ere!!"

Candy responds, while yawning.

"C'mon pops.. I overslept, that's all..  Had a crazy night last night.."

Candy pops the car in reverse and heads to the airport, cruising on to the interstate that will lead him there.

Candy's father, Mampoo, was a leader in a gang that resided in Ganton of Los Santos.. Candy would always visit his father every summer, and after enough troubles in KC, his mother decided it may be better to have a father figure in his life..  What they didn't know, is that things would only get worse for Candy, from here on out.

After speaking more with his father on the phone, Candy hangs up and arrives at the airport..
Leaping out of his car with his luggage, he ran into the terminal for his flight..

4 Hours later..

It's a Sunny evening in Los Santos, Candy's flight is just landing at LSAP, and his father is waiting in his Greenwood.

"Son, you lookin' good, boy!" Mampoo states, while laughing and pointing at his son's beaten face.

Candy embraces his father, and they both walk back to the Greenwood, while talking..
His father says, "Son, it ain't the same out here, as it is in KC..  Nigga's look to get one over on ya' out here..  I've seen crack ho's stab nigga's for 10 bucks!  This shit is crazy.."

The sound of his father being worried, only made Candy's grin bigger.. Being a young pup, He didn't quite understand the volumes of violence, death, and drugs that surrounded the street he was soon to call "Home".

13 Years later.. 

A sleeping Candy, wakes up to a ringing iPhone.. He see's his cousin's face pop up as the ringer continues to blast one of his favorite songs..  He answ0ers.

The voice of his cousin Larry, comes through his phone..

"Yo, C.. We spilt.. We had too, nigga.. I'm sorry."

Candy responds, almost choking on his own words..

"You.. Are gone..?"

Larry states, with loud background noise.

"We out in L.C. The fed's came to Frank's this last night.. We layin' low out here.  I'm sorry we couldn't get you, nigga, we had to go..
You be safe out there nigga, watch yo' back.. And yo' always welcome out here.."

Candy hangs up the phone, as he hangs his head low, beginning to cry..

One of Candy's ho's wakes to the sound of a grown man sobbing and she starts to rub his back..

"Candy, are you okay?"

Candy spins around and grabs the womans arm, tossing her off the bed and pointing to the door, while screaming..

"Get tha' fuck outta here, HO!"

She gathers herself off the floor and proceeds to leave.

Candy is left with nothing.. No family.. Hardly any trustworthy friends.. All he has is money, and a few contacts.  Candy calls one of his friends he met along the way, sharing similar backgrounds, he thought to himself, "This guy has been in this situation before.."

He grabs his iPhone and starts frantically searching for a phone number.  Attempting to gain composure for one of the most important phone calls in his life, he hears the voice answer.

"Hello?"

Candy attempts to speak and can only fit out a few words..

"Carnage.. It's Jarome.."
