That's the same gta3.img that was posted in the Hardware/Software Support section. I also added that gta3.img when I needed, but some there are some files missing (missing skins is all that I experienced, not anything else.) If you are by someone or even someone passes by you with a skin that is missing in the file, then your game will freeze. What I did was go through all the stores, and every time I froze on the next skin that came up, I just went on argo wiki and see which skin it was. Then I just added the missing file (though I had my old gta3.img where I had all the files, so it might be hard for you to get the missing files.)

I suggest you re-install your game or find another download for the gta3.img.
