The responsibilities of being a father made Vladislav soft. As time progressed he started becoming more of a family man than a mobster, worst of all he'd lost his hunger, the same hunger that brought him to Gvardia in the first place, his hunger for power and money. Vladislav now had a wife, Angelika and his 2 year old son Miralem to provide for. After many years with the syndicate he decided to take a less active role in order to take care of his family and moved in with them in Los Santos. Vladislav started working as a mechanic upon moving to Los Santos and whilst he would frequently pay visits back to San Fierro sooner or later Gvardia began seeing less and less of him until he stopped visiting altogether. Back in Los Santos he had earned enough money to open his own garage and had finally began earning an honest living, but things weren't as perfect as they seemed. Vladislav's wife would always nag him about coming back home from work late and not giving enough attention to their child, not paying the bills on time, taking out the trash, you name it. One day in a heated argument between the two he ended up pushing Angelika, thinking it was only a light push, however she stumbled and fell, hitting her head against the edge of a table, which split her head open. She was rushed to accident and emergency where she was given stitches and then bandaged up, eventually getting discharged. Instead of moving back in with Vladislav however, she decided she was going to stay over in her brother's house for the night and take their child Miralem with them. Until things "cool" down she said.
It’s only a little domestic dispute, people make mistakes and shit happens right? Well not quite like what happened next...
It was 3am in the morning; Vladislav was fast asleep in his empty house, no wife, no crying kid, just a quiet somewhat eerie atmosphere. All was well and good before he heard the shattering of glass downstairs followed by the unmistakable smell of smoke. As he ran down the stairs to see what happened he was blocked by the debris. His house had been set on fire and was on the verge of collapsing. He ran back up into his room and as he peeped his head out his window for fresh air he seen his brother in laws car speed up the road and disappear into the distance. By now the house was engulfed in flames and he desperately needed to get out of there so Vladislav slowly climbed out of his bedroom window and came crashing down onto a bush below, stumbling away from the burning mess he called home. The LSFD? They arrived just in time to see the roof collapse back down to the very foundation it was erected from. The same place Vladislav worked his ass off to maintain was now a pile of rubble.
Revenge? It was too early for revenge, he'd be expecting it. If Vladislav just stormed into his brother in laws house he wouldn’t only be putting his own life in danger but his kids too. With no where left to live though, it was about time he returned where he should have stayed all along. He had a lot of explaining to do, for all the times he wasn’t around and for all the questions left unanswered but it was his only option, maybe they would understand.
Vladislav called for a taxi, where to? Queen's, San Fierro...
