Hello Gvardia.

With the introduction of RS5, we have been reviewing the official groups to see if you are still up to standard with what we are expecting.

With this, we have reached the decision to revoke the status of official from both you and the other official groups.

The main reason why we have decided this is because RS5 is a fresh start, and we want to follow that path when it comes to groups aswell. As soon as ARUN is up and running, all groups will be closely watched and if we see a group fit the criteria of being offical then we will discuss it.

Another reason is because official groups will have some actual perks ingame aswell from now on. Letting you keep your official status would give you a huge advantage aswell over other groups during this time. These perks and instructions on what what we're expecting from groups to become official will be posted soon.

The groups that has been removed from their official status today is not having any lower chance of becoming official again. If you still fit into the criterias, you will have the same chance as everyone else.

Just a small explanation in order not to be misunderstood.
The Official status was originally given to groups at a time there was a limited amount of servers, and also groups were active throughout all. Currently we noticed that many groups are limiting themselves to a single server or game, and each server offers different advantages.

In communication with the server leaders, we decided a new system where the Division Leader(s) of every server can set Official Groups for their server, that do not give any rights on other servers. This to avoid a group being official on one server suddenly requiring rights when they are effectively new.
 
The status on SAMP will be given based on the review.
This is not limited to Gvardia but to all groups that were marked as official.

Yeah, criminal groups were promised a lot of things in RS5 following the wonderful updates, but it resulted in just losing everything and having to work all over for even the status.
