Hi,

almost everyday i suffer from this bug.
i'm just playing and suddenly i crash.
trying to reconnect, crash, try again, crash.
this only happens to argonath, i can just connect to any other server without keeping crashing.
i reinstalled SA:MP and rebooted my computer after it but it doesnt work.
could anybody tell me how to fix this?
(the bug happens to some of my friend too)

reinstalling takes like an hour, by that time i can already log in.

Argonath is unique, and sometimes that causes unique problems.
If you crash due to being on a buggy place, on login you are returned there and crash again.
This can be due to the objects around, or other things.

Solution 1: do not login but get yourself kicked. On next login your position is set to a standard spawn place and is reset.
Solution 2: (if you crash before login): use the left and right arrows to select another spawn place.

If all fails: PM me with the time it happens and I will check if I can find and solve the cause.

Do not roleplay a veteran on discord, be a veteran in game.

I got the same. As soon as the message on the screen says "[WS]Smey has joined the server", I crash. Sometimes after 30 minutes it works again, sometimes I have to wait a couple of houres. I have it more and more since we are official again. I guess it's fixed by a server restart or something.

Maybe the ingame weather has something to do with it?

it does.
i kept crashing, then i could connect and i asked: did the server restart
people said it did

Yeah, I believe to.

Strange is though, when I have it, it both doesn't work in Vista or Xp. But when I change to my laptop, there it works. (When I change back to my desktop, it still doesn't work on my desktop)

i have had this before, while ago though,
reinstall the client worked for me i believe,
and it doesnt had to do anything with bugged place,
just when you log out at LSPD and then login it can happen also

After resetting is position Sherrif stopped crashing. So for all who can not solve : PM me (OMG WTF 100 PM  :hit: :lol:)

Can't you script something that detects when a player crashes on connect, and reset his spawn point automatically?

Since you self said that resetting the spawn point solved it.
