Hey Silver,
Its not your fault, its just that you are naive, thats why you thght it may be true. Fact is, you will see many more of such messages, examples like giving you a fortune from africa if you reply to a message and stuff. You should NOT trust such people, they are after you to scam you and stuff like that. There are many types of internet frauds you cannot even fathom. Therefore when you see such mails, just delete or ignore em.
