E-mail Preferences

I was just wondering if there's a way of turning all e-mails (not PMs) off completely so that you don't receive any notifications from the forum. I need to do this while I organise my e-mails! I have tried to turn everything off, but I still seem to get e-mail replies to inform me that I have sent/recieved a PM.  I have checked all my preferences, I might try filling in my preferences again to see if it gets updated.
If this feature doesn't already exist, could it please be added?
