I was taking the piss out of a newb spammer who copied and pasted the local IP of the server, like an idiot.

Nonetheless, you pretty much escaped a ban by a tiny fraction.
I missed the first part also, by the way.

We see an IP spammed in chat, we ban the ID we see before it.
