Car Thief Crashes - Chase Ensues - IRL Story

Heres a story, that is far from being SA:MP. Today, sometime just before noon US Centrel Time, me and two members of my family were sitting at a T shaped intersection about 10 miles from downtown Saint Paul Minnesota. We noticed, just to our right, an old two door vehicle swerving in traffic. It weaved in between two vehicles before loosing control and going off the road out of view. We drove over and saw that he had crashed into parked silver Jetta. Four feet away was the driver, a young black man, no more then 25, running away on pure rush. We called the local police and began to follow the man, reporting location as we went. We stayed a few feet behind him, he ran into an alley and walked. He turned around, noticed that we were following, with a phone, and ran over a fence, falling, getting back up and running out the front. We went around and saw him darting into a bush between two homes. We went around back into the alley, drove until just barely seeing him back out front again. We lost him for a moment, then saw him holding his shirt in one hand, wearing another colored one, most likely one he had under the first. At this time he was in a parking lot, walking, and we saw a marked police vehicle down at the crash site. We sped over to him and pointed the way, the officer followed to the spot but unforutunatly he was gone, we should have stayed with him and on the phone with the dispatch officer but did not. We went to a bar and grill, sat down, and had some burgers. What a day, my only regret, forgetting my phone and not being able to video the chase. The man remains at large. Comments welcome, or just read.

He was a car thief as the car was stolen moments before. And yes, we should have just hit the guy .

He seemed like some punk kid, I doubt he was armed, but yes, the police warned us not to chase suspects.

lmfao lol i would say: what you think this is you noob GTA SA you cant speed and weave in and out of traffic...then if he comes i do a /me pulls bat of of trunk always have it in my car for punks like him 

and spar you should know to ALWAYS stay with the suspect if you on phone with cops  he might come and hit your car and you might die coz you let him escape

Indeed. I personally know many people in my school who either do, have done, or sell illegal drugs. I personally think thats there choice, although I disagree, and I have no reason to tell them to stop. And, yes, it was a very interesting day.

Informants are fucked up anyways, I do feel bad for some of them though, the pigs try scaring people into it. I remember a news story some young girl (college age) was sent into a drug house of as an informant and was gunned down because she clearly wasn't fit for the job. But other informants are just selfish because they get off for their crimes.
