Lots of people get insulted and offended on the server, insulting people is against the rules, gay or straight. No need to make a whole topic about it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on gays, he is entitled to dislike or like gays, although he insulted you (which is wrong) doesn't make him a homophobe. You didn't need to make a whole topic about how the guy is a homophobe, because then it just makes you as bad as him. You should have just reported him and left it at that. If there was a topic for every time someone got insulted to 'name and shame' then the forum would be flooded. Just because you are gay doesn't make the insult any worse than if a straight guy called a straight guy a ****.

Yeah if someone calls me gay or a bad guy or whatever, I'll just be like yeah, so what? They'll usually ramble on or just stop. Its sad people even have this attitude, they just don't understand what its like to be gay (or bisexual I guess, I'm not) Its not a choice (unless you're bi) People need to understand people are born this way.

True, but not everyone feels the same way about being insulted about that and it would depend on what exactly the person said, not everything is full on.

I use the word f*g/f*ggot alot, but yeah it can have the same impact as a racial slur, no one should have to be called that or made fun of. People use it as an insult like its a bad thing.

That's the definition of sexism, pure and simple.

You know, the funny thing about this topic is that I'm actually starting to believe there are more gay/lesbian/bisexual/transexual users in Argonath than straight at this point, yet it's the "non-straights" that are getting gaybashed. Seriously guys, quit being childish and just accept the fact that your sexual preference has nothing to do with you being a person of the human race just like the rest of us...

P.S. Yes, I am straight, and yes, I will defend anyone on this. No, I am not bisexual, and no, I will not change my beliefs just because your religious leaders are ignorant enough to say it is wrong to be or support those who are not straight...

Sometimes personal hate towards group of individuals is caused by bad experience with some...

I too have such issues with some groups of people, but I shall not name them here, as they are a bit racist.

yeah thats true, personally i got bad experience with a certain group also(they are being a big trouble in the netherlands)
i really dont like them,
so maybe something like that is going no with the flamer also
