Question about "unwritten" rule

Hey i was ingame today and the talk was about LOTR names, as i just watched LOTR yesterday i was thinking to change my name but then other guys said "LOTR names are only for denvelopers" If its true then its not fair at all. If you get promoted in police force it does not give you right to use another name from GTA SA  like tenpenny, everyone can use it so i cant see whats so special about LOTR names, everyone should be allowed to wear them.

Argonath is a name from LOTR. The LOTR names for devs was thought of before the server was even made. All of the names were pre planned.

New players will be (SHOULD be) asked to change their nick and explained why they can't use a LOTR name.

Regulars will probably get warned (or worse) because they should know that rule already.

my opinion is that when you get permission by Gandalf a/o Aragorn you can have/choose a LOTR name.
btw, its best to NOT put this in the rules, because when you do this, more people will choose a LOTR name just to break the rule
