What is the most Meaningless term you know?
Well, the most meaningless ive ever hear is;

'Near-miss' - When two planes nearly collide, they call it a 'Near-miss'
Its a Near hit!
a Collision, is a 'Near-miss'

BOOM!
"Look, They nearly missed.."

Oh god, I know tons of meaninglesss terms, here are a few:

''Carefull with that ladder, your'll get someones eye out with that''

-How is that possible? 

And ive also heard people say this:

''Its too cold to snow''

Well they missed when they were really close, so near to each other so yeah it was a near-miss.

Uh no. You were near each other but you missed. It could also be called a near hit. But when two planes hit, its called a collision.

that is pointless because they hit so its not a miss nor is it nearly a miss..

They do not hit, definition says, avoided collision. So as they were near each other, they missed, so I do get it why it is called near-miss. In Estonian it is called napikas.

Yeh, what's wrong with that one? If it's TOO cold it will not snow. It has to be a certain degree < NERD!

Yeah it has to be in between a certain degree to snow. If it gets too cold then it will just be hail I guess.
