I made this topic to tell you what the significance of the word "addiction" really is.
Perhaps you already know, perhaps you don't. Doesn't matter. Aswell to advertise a good game, heh...anyway.

For example, my father always tells me to go out more, as I'm usually on the computer from school's end to sleeptime. That's something people would like to call 'desperation'. I don't, but that doesn't have with this to do.
I don't do any sport or anything such that. I'm not either involved in fights, using drugs, smoking or drinking alcohol.
I recommend you to not start with drugs or drinking alcohol. There's people that can handle to
drink. But I still strongly recommend there aswell, to not drink. It will lead to frustration, anger, hate and a way
to deaf your feelings. Some people I know very good, relatives. Might be father, might be mother e.t.c, I won't tell you as it's unecessary, got this problem. One of them still using drugs and alcohol, the other have quited 3 and a half years ago. Anyway, that's not my point. My point is, do you got this problem, or you started to drink.
Don't. My neighbour almost died because of alcohol, NOT drugs. I'm repeating, if you got this problem, or just started to drink, search for help via AA/NA.

Summary
So, there's lots of addictions. Alcohol, drugs, smoking, "moist snuff", gambling e.t.c.

Larry, I know you only wish the best to others, but I have to say, that if a person starts to drink alcohol it might not be bad. I mean, if a person drinks responsibly then there is nothing wrong with it and he doesn't need to go to AA meetings or anything. Even my ex-Estonian teacher and headmistress reminded us an old Estonian saying: "Võta pits ja pea aru" what means "take a shot and think it over again". Meaning that a lot of times, alcohol can clear up the thinking.
I ain't saying that going out every weekend and getting drunk so much that you can't remember anything nor control your mouth is a thing you should do. By any means don't. I am just saying that having one beer with your friends ain't that bad. Drink responsibly and don't judge people who do that too.

Alcohol is wonderful as long as you stay within the right amount if you go beyond, you might get an awful hangover the day after

take it like this, your first drink might be your last because you dont even know if your body is to support a poison in its system, its like saying I dont care about my life anymore, but you dont even know what your about to do, a risk like that is not worth taking because 1. There will be no good outcome 2. It will probably lead to many problems in life which could include divorce, depression and death.

Yes alcoholic drinks can be very healthy. Like wine or beer and alot of others. But alcoholism and too much to drink can cause heart damage or failure and liver damage or failure. And you might even get hostile or violent towards friends or loved ones. And you will have a hell of a hangover the next day.

1. History
When water was the main reason of global diseases in cities with a population deaths, people started using water in different ways (example: kvas, beer, wine)... People for a long time were drinking this drinks instead of water...

2. Drunker or alcoholic?
Drunker - the guy who drinks a lot or often... Mostly because of life problems which he cannot handle...
Alcoholism - addictive illness (includes medicine parts)... Human's body generates spirit... In this process is involved liver... When human drinks constantly a lot of alcohol, the parts of body that are responsible for generating the spirit work less and can stop working at all... Alcohol replaces not-produced spirit...

3. To drink or not to drink?
Up to you... As from medicine point some drinks are really good...
- a glass of red wine renews the blood, which is very good... People used it even in Bible... Once a day - no problems...
- Vodka helps with many things: from temperature to curing the wounds and light anesthesia... If you have nothing more around and there are no ambulances, Vodka can help a lot... Just needs to know how to use (inside and outside)...

If I was helped to exit my mothers vagina, doctors took also a risk, they didn't knew if I were allergic to light. I drink water, never know what is in it, taking risk, eating food. Every time I try to go to school I risk my life in the traffic. My whole life is a one big risk.
You saying I don't know if I can handle alcohol? Well I think you should know it yourself that a small amount of alcohol doesn't affect you drastically. It isn't like you take one drop of alcohol and you are immediately addictive.

so thats why granny when i go visit her offers me all the time a glass of red wine 
Joking , i knew about that , medics usualy recomand a glass of wine per day , for those who suffers heart problems (( dont know exactly what kind of )) but its also recomanded for healthy ppl aswell

No such thing as alcohol addiction. There are only mental problems.
True, alcohol's bad for your liver and whatnot, but life is short. Besides, it's fun to drink with your friends etc.
My class trip to Sweden was a constant party . Next year Germany when we can legally buy beer.

There is people surviving without any alcohol with heartproblems. So there's other ways to survive without it.
You can live without alcohol, and that's the point. You wont get any diseases or anything if you DON'T drink
alcohol. Although, "it's fun to drink with your friends", why don't you just drink Coke or something? Same thing without alcohol. Or Pommac, it's without alcohol.

Nobody tells that you cannot survive without alcohol drinking...
But if you have a serious wound - you should and have to work it out with alcohol...

Check any hospital, what they use for disinfection... Nothing but spirit...
